The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from Times Square, The rooms are on the smaller side, but it's an excellent deal for a short stay of one or two nights,

Opting for OYO Times Square was a spur-of-the-moment choice for me, I had unfortunately fallen victim to a scam involving an apartment listing on a travel site, To salvage my NYC trip, I found OYO Times Square to be budget-friendly (even just days before my arrival), perfectly situated near my shows, and the photos looked appealing with an in-room bathroom, It was just what I needed, Upon my arrival, the images matched exactly what I had seen online, The lobby was bright, inviting, and the front desk was spacious with two staff members present, Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, You need your key card to access your floor via the elevator, which made me feel very secure, There are two elevators, but they are located separately and have different call buttons, The elevators are a bit slow, so be sure to account for that when heading to the lobby for your shows and reservations, This is Manhattan, so dont expect large, spacious buildings, The hallways feel narrow, and the room is compact, but it has everything you need and space for your belongings, Theres a decent-sized closet, a small cabinet for your items, hooks for your jacket and bag, side tables, a well-sized bathroom with a shower, a window, a flat-screen TV, a safe, and complimentary WiFi, The bathroom features subway tiles, which I adore, and includes all the essentials: towels (hand, bath, washcloth, and bathmat), shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in dispensers, plus a hairdryer, In the room, theres a trash can and a separate recycling bin, which I appreciate, The modern thermostat worked wonderfully for controlling the A/C, It was warm during my stay, and I loved being able to keep my room at a comfortable temperature, The bedding was very clean, but I did need an extra blanket, I requested one from the front desk, and they promptly provided me with a lovely cozy blanket just when I needed it, I put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door to avoid daily cleaning, and the staff was very attentive to guests' requests, respecting my sign even when I wasnt in the room, I also wanted some bottled water and picked up some fruit from a nearby market, When I returned, I was offered a mini-fridge, which was so convenient to have added to my room at no extra charge, I inquired about hot water
