The house offers 80 m² of space, sufficient for up to 3 guests, and features two bedrooms and one bathroom. Ca’ Grassini is a typical Romagna farmhouse whose construction dates back to the early 1800s. The building was designed to be functional for agricultural activity, with the living area located on the first floor and the service areas and stabling for the farm animals located on the ground floor.
The construction is completed by a large porch facing south for storing equipment and a wide open space in front, once used as a threshing floor for crop storage, surrounded by hedges and large trees that isolate it from the surrounding countryside. The building has been recently renovated; in the habitable part located on the first floor, divided in two by the large access staircase, two apartments have been created, each with a living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower.
The east-facing apartment has a large terrace accessible from both bedrooms through wide French doors. It is ideal for 3 or 4 people, but larger families can also be considered with additional accommodation in the rooms of the west wing of the building.
The heating system with a latest-generation pellet boiler makes it comfortable even outside the summer season.

The farmhouse is located in Villamarina di Cesenatico, in the open countryside; it is about 1 km from the Valverde beach and 4 km from the center of Cesenatico with its characteristic canal port.
The ancient canal port was designed in its current form by Leonardo da Vinci; from here, on August 2, 1848, Giuseppe Garibaldi embarked to escape the papal troops who were hunting him. The historical reenactment of the event takes place on the first Sunday of August, in the morning with a historical parade along the canal port and in the evening with spectacular fireworks over the sea. In the oldest section of the Canal Port, there is a floating museum displaying the traditional boats once used in the port with their characteristic decorations; in summer, their colorful sails marked with the symbols of the sailors’ families are hoisted every day.

Ca’ Grassini is an ideal place for an outdoor holiday, far from traffic and city chaos, with the possibility of combining a stay by the sea with excursions into the hinterland rich in history, medieval villages, and food and wine itineraries. Cà Grassini is also located along one of the most popular routes for cyclists, not far from the residence of the famous champion Marco Pantani; for those who love this sport, it is an ideal base for discovering the cycling routes of the Romagna hills and riding the roads and climbs where the champion used to train.
Ca’ Grassini can be reached from the A14 motorway from Bologna towards Ancona, recommended exit at the “Valle del Rubicone” toll booth, or by taking the SS no. 16 Adriatica from Cesenatico towards Rimini, exit Villamarina – Valverde.
