Pepe is ideal for up to two people. Like the other construction trailers, Pepe is fully equipped with a small kitchen with induction cooktop, coffee machine, refrigerator, and sink. On the wooden terrace, you are guaranteed a nature experience.

Upon your arrival, a freshly made double bed awaits you. In the stylish washhouse, which can be reached directly via wooden walkways on the meadow, you will find the bathrooms, separate toilets, a sink, and a washing machine.

The Auszeit Bauwagen camp is the ideal place for anyone looking for a little break – whether as a couple, with friends, or with family. Instead of a long journey and lots of hustle and bustle, an uncomplicated, nearby vacation with plenty of nature and loving details awaits you here.

In the lake province Steinhuder Meer, the Auszeit Bauwagencamp invites you to consciously press the pause button and leave everyday life behind. Here, there are no hotel wings and no hustle and bustle of entertainment, but lovingly designed wagons, peace, fresh air, and plenty of time outdoors.

The Auszeit Bauwagencamp is the first wagon camp in the lake province and combines close-to-nature overnight stays with a very special charm. If you like authenticity but still don’t want to miss out on comfort, this is the right place for you.

The location makes it easy to simply let go: wake up to birdsong in the morning, enjoy the sunset in the evening, and in between actively explore the region or simply do nothing at all.

The camp is located at the northernmost tip of the Schaumburg district, very close to the Lower Saxony state capital, Hanover. You can get anywhere from us very easily by bus & train, by bike or car. Over the sea you can even go by boat : )

You only want to book one night? No problem. We then charge €70 per adult and €35 per child for the one night.

For guests who stay more than one night, we charge per night and caravan €70 for the first person.

From the second person onwards, €35 each.
For children up to 14 years old, €20.

A tent you bring can be set up next to the booked caravan; here we charge €15 per person.

The price includes additional costs such as electricity and hot water as well as final cleaning. The beds in the construction trailer are freshly made upon arrival and towels are also provided.

Sailing, surfing, cycling or hiking? If you prefer to be active, you can combine your break at the camp with excursions: cycling and hiking on an old railway embankment, paddling, sailing, surfing on the sea or following in the footsteps of dinosaurs – the surroundings offer the right program for every mood.

And from that, the Auszeit Bauwagencamp was created. Here you can rent up to four construction trailers, treat yourself to a really good break, cycle to Lake Steinhude, go hiking, or simply do nothing at all.
