Welcome to Casa Foresto – your holiday destination in Foresto/Bussoleno! This holiday home offers approximately 50 m² on 2 floors connected by an external staircase, providing ample space for up to 4 guests plus possibly a child in a crib. The small bathroom with shower is located on the ground floor with entrance from the terrace.
The large terrace and a balcony with a uniquely beautiful panorama create the desired holiday feeling. Many plants further enhance this atmosphere. Enjoy relaxing hours with a view over the old houses of the village section and the picturesque mountain landscape.
The surroundings invite you to take hikes through the impressive Alpine scenery that stretches right outside your door, and in the immediate vicinity you can stroll through lovingly tended gardens. It is a cyclist’s paradise and a special insider tip for nature observers: the most popular excursion destination is Montcenisio with its magnificent mountain lake and alpine flora and fauna. The large metropolis of Turin, with its impressive city center and beautiful shops, and Milan with an international airport, renowned gastronomy, and cultural attractions, are just under an hour’s drive away. Your well-being is well taken care of: bed linen is of course provided and a TV in the cozy living area offers entertainment. Thanks to Wi-Fi, you are always connected. Families are also considered: a baby bed and a high chair are available. The house is located in the village old town, without traffic noise, the parking lot is about 150m from the house. The place is also ideal for longer stays. SPECIAL FEATURE: There is also a mini kitchen with refrigerator and hotplate in the upstairs bedroom.
Our friends and guests especially love the panoramic seating area on the balcony with the newly installed panoramic window offering a view to the west as far as Montcenisio. (see photo)

Excursion options by car into the parallel valleys to the north offer wonderful hiking opportunities. Hiking maps are available in the house.
Wonderful hikes and climbing tours can be started directly from the holiday home. Small, well-maintained roads make it possible to drive to high altitudes by car and begin hikes and climbing tours there. - But it is also uniquely beautiful for mountain lovers who are not, or are no longer, so fit to comfortably enjoy the magnificent atmosphere of the mountains without exertion!

Discover Foresto/Bussoleno: nature, mountains, and authentic Piedmontese atmosphere!
In fact, this small village – a so-called borgata – is something truly special.
Here, everyone finds what they are looking for: culture and history in nearby (47km) Turin with museums such as the Egyptian Museum, the Palazzo Reale (UNESCO World Heritage), Palazzo Madama, Venaria Reale (Baroque palace), . . . . S
Very close by is the pretty, romantic, and historic small town of Susa with lovely little shops, beautiful walking opportunities, good pizzerias and restaurants.
Directly from the house you can go on wonderful hikes or walks. – Or also more or less challenging hikes or even climbing tours into the mountains behind the house, directly from the house! In nearby Bussoleno, there is not only a huge Carrefour supermarket on a large shared parking lot, but also a pharmacy, an electronics store, and a bar where you can not only sit comfortably, but also get delicious food and pastries, as well as, of course, good drinks! A special feature of the region is that you can drive on small but well-maintained asphalt roads even into higher mountain areas (up to over 2000m) and from there take wonderful mountain tours or walks without having to conquer long ascents!
Also for those who appreciate the mountain panorama from afar but prefer to hike in the valley: I recently hiked around the large Lago di Avigliano—almost 4 hours of panoramic enjoyment of the highest order! The path around the small lake near Avigliano is also very beautiful. Both lakes are about 30 minutes away from here by car. But this is just one of so many examples!
And of course my holiday guests and friends also visit the usual sights in the area or take advantage of the (so very different, most lovingly furnished) shopping opportunities in Turin – including the special supermarkets for gardening supplies or stores for craftsmen’s needs with an amazingly wide range of products.

It is very pleasant that the nearest shopping facilities with several large supermarkets and spacious parking lots are only about 5 km away! (in Bussoleno) Large selection of fruit and vegetables, fresh pasta (!), many types of bread (including whole grain bread!), fresh fish, wonderful selection of cheeses, etc...
Since the area is (fortunately) not overrun by tourists, you will be treated very kindly here. Many people speak a little English, some also German...
