The St. Josefhof in Kaltern am See offers comfortable holiday apartments in a quiet location, surrounded by vineyards and with a magnificent view of Lake Kaltern. Each apartment is bright, friendly, and fully equipped – with a modern kitchen, cozy living area, balcony with lake view, and a well-kept bathroom.
The farm is located in the immediate vicinity of the lake – only about a 10-minute walk from Lake Kaltern and the popular bathing beaches. This makes it the ideal starting point for swimming enthusiasts, walkers, and active vacationers.
For relaxation, the large sunbathing lawn with loungers, palm trees, and shady spots under the vine arbor invites you in. A highlight is the heated whirlpool under the vine arbor, from which you can enjoy views of the vineyards and the gently babbling brook next to the house.
For children, there is a separate playground with a swing, sandbox, slide, table football, table tennis, and a volleyball net. Additional amenities include farm-produced products, a bread roll delivery service, fresh apples from the orchard, a bicycle garage, and free parking directly at the house. Dogs are warmly welcome.

Holiday apartment absolutely quiet, clean, and friendly
We have just returned from our short vacation over the New Year in South Tyrol. We spent five days at the St. Josefhof in Kaltern with the Bertagnoll family. We felt very comfortable there. Relaxation set in as soon as we drove along the driveway lined with oleanders and olive trees. Bernadette Bertagnoll and her family welcomed us warmly and were very good hosts. Bernadette's apple strudel with pine nuts is a poem. The apartment was very spacious for the two of us with our dog Maila, absolutely clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Even with the TV, it was possible to watch PRIME and Netflix with our own account. The three holiday apartments are beautifully located above Lake Kaltern, and the balcony offers the opportunity to sit outside. Despite the full occupancy of all three holiday apartments, it was very quiet in the house. The booking and communication with the Bertagnoll family in advance was super easy. Emails were responded to very quickly. We can only recommend this vacation rental.
