The Alpenchalet Sonnenröschen has just under 70 sqm and extends over two floors with a stair lift. The furnishings are in a modern country house style (untreated spruce wood), with great importance attached to using materials that are low in or free from harmful substances. Upon request, we are happy to provide a commode chair with lift assist.
The separate kitchen with a view of the garden is equipped with everything needed for cooking and baking:
A microwave for when things need to go quickly, a food processor, a waffle iron, an oven with a ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, and a dishwasher that takes care of the washing up after a cozy get-together. Here you will find both bedrooms and the accessible shower/WC.
The large bedroom, with a great mountain view up to the Zugspitze, has, in addition to the 2.00 m x 2.00 m double bed, a couch that can also be used as a sofa bed with a lying surface of 1.60 m x 1.95 m. Thus, this 'family bedroom' offers up to four sleeping places and also another large LED TV.

The climatic health resort Nesselwang is located right in the middle of the Allgäu. Exactly where the charming pre-Alpine landscape meets the high peaks in the south of Bavaria. Everything you typically expect from the Allgäu can be experienced here in Nesselwang. Our central location also makes it easy for you to explore the surroundings. Many walking paths are cleared and maintained even in winter and are accessible with strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs. Within walking distance of the small regional train station Nesselwang, at the end of a quiet private road in a residential/mixed-use area at about 850 meters above sea level, lies our sun-drenched and barrier-free holiday home Alpenchalet Sonnenröschen. Enjoy the healthy, crystal-clear mountain air and the wonderful view of the surrounding mountains in the large garden belonging to the house. The spa park with Kneipp facility, large children's playground, table tennis table and bocce court, the tourist office, doctors, including veterinarians and dentists, pharmacies, medical supply store, optician, photographer, hair salons, gas stations, regional shopping options with post office, bakeries, ice cream parlors/cafés, beautiful textile and sports shops as well as a discount store make up the village center, which is within walking distance. Metzgerei Haslacher offers goods around the clock in refrigerated vending machines: metzgerei-partyservice-haslacher. These invite you to bathe, swim, and hike. In addition, rivers and streams flow through the Ostallgäu landscape for over 1,000 kilometers. 19 bathing spots are EU bathing waters and are checked every two weeks from March to September by the health department. Stand-up boards, rowing boats, and pedal boats can be rented. Ostallgäu is not called 'the Allgäu Lake District' without reason. On eight varied kilometers of slopes, beginners and advanced skiers will find everything that makes skiing and snowboarding so enjoyable, including the unique view of the mountains in the Allgäu and Tyrol as well as a stop at a rustic ski hut. The special highlight is night skiing under floodlights, which bathes the slopes in bright light daily from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., creating an unforgettable slope experience. Anyone who still hasn’t had enough fun is warmly welcome at the après-ski. Enjoy the view of the illuminated ski slopes directly from our whirlpool as well.
In Nesselwang alone, 50 kilometers of winter hiking trails are cleared and groomed for you. In addition to the tours in the valley, there are also two routes on the Alpspitze. The routes lead through snowy forests, past frozen lakes, and to magnificent viewpoints of the Allgäu and Austrian Alps. Amidst unspoiled nature, the routes can be chosen so that both beginners and experienced hikers, even with dogs, can equally enjoy movement.
Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the Allgäu winter landscape. Sit down in the sleigh, get cozy with the warm blankets, and let yourself be enchanted by a royal winter fairy tale. Free cancellation possible up to 28 days before the arrival date.
Here is the translation to English: A cancellation is free of charge up to 28 days before the booked arrival date! For cancellations between the 28th and 14th day before the booked arrival date, 50% of the accommodation price will be charged, and for cancellations made closer to the arrival date, 80% of the accommodation price will be charged. The latter also applies in the case of early departure or late arrival for nights not used. If the Alpenchalet Sonnenröschen can be re-rented, of course, no costs will be incurred. Cancellation or reduction of the booked stay must be made in writing. We ask for your understanding and refer to the generally applicable cancellation fees of the DeHoGa Association (German Hotel and Restaurant Association).
