Location and surroundings of object

In the immediate vicinity of the Pirk reservoir is the shepherd’s wagon “Amselnest”. It is located in the nature reserve. After a 10-minute walk you will reach a playground with a table tennis table and a kiosk. The town of Oelsnitz, with a heated outdoor pool, shopping facilities, restaurants, and cafés, is a short distance away. Bad Elster and Hof, with cultural offerings, can be reached by car in 30 minutes. The Vogtland offers a variety of sights such as the Göltzsch Valley Bridge, the Musical Instrument Museum in Markneukirchen, the leisure activities in Plohn and, of course, many hiking trails. The Saxon Way of St. James is also in the immediate vicinity. The border with the Czech Republic can be reached by car in 30 minutes. A trip with the Vogtlandbahn is also an option.
