Our stay in the room with the fireplace was absolutely lovely! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, thanks to the beautiful old fireplace from 1861. We loved the charm of the hayloft, and the surrounding garden was a perfect place for coffee in the morning. The hosts were very hospitable, and we felt completely at home. Although the pool was closed during our visit, that did not detract from our experience. There are plenty of nice places nearby, such as Jaderpark and Park der Gärten, which made our excursions easy and enjoyable.

It was a beautiful house, spacious, well-equipped with necessities. However, there were some issues that have been mentioned in reviews for a long time, such as hot water that has to come from very far away, which is difficult to manage with a non-draining shower drain. The low point was definitely a gardener who said at 3 o'clock that he would be working for 2 hours but only started at 5 o'clock. He then spent almost 3 hours blowing around our BBQ area with a gas-powered leaf blower while we were trying to have a nice barbecue. He was willing to accommodate us by canceling us. Well, this man also just has to do his job, but then the client needs to communicate that. Then we would have gone to eat in the city.
