The brightly lit living area invites you to relax. Make yourself comfortable on the cozy couch or use the sofa bed for an additional person. The inviting dining area with a table for up to 6 people is perfect for sociable evenings. Cooking becomes a pleasure in our well-equipped kitchen! Enjoy modern appliances such as ceramic hob, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. A rich assortment of high-quality pots, pans, and kitchen utensils leaves little to be desired. In addition, there's a coffee machine, blender, kettle, toaster, and a sandwich toaster - here, thanks to a basic selection of spices, any hobby chef can be happy!
Bedroom 1 offers a cozy double bed (160 x 200 cm) and ample storage space with a wardrobe and sideboard. There's also space for a baby cot, which we are happy to provide free of charge. Bedroom 2 is equipped with a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a sofa bed (120 x 190 cm) - ideal for younger guests or additional friends.
The stylish shower room with a rustic river stone sink and a shower cubicle with a rain shower gets you ready for the day.
The garden is an outdoor paradise! Enjoy the fresh air at the dining area or by the campfire place with a swing grill. End the day in the comfortable hanging chairs or play a game of bocce, Kubb, or badminton (the necessary equipment is available). An outdoor ping pong table with a chill-out area is also available.
A free car parking space is located directly in front of the door on the property. You can park your bicycles on the property. A stroller can be stored in the weather-protected and lockable box in front of the house. Please note that the apartment can only be accessed via stairs to the upper floor.

Dahlen, a charming small town in the district of North Saxony, is situated amidst the attractive landscape of the Saxon hill country, about 50 km northwest of Leipzig. Dahlen is often referred to as the "Gateway to the Dahlener Heide," an extensive forest area that is excellent for hiking, nature explorations, and cycling. In the town, it is worthwhile to take a walk in the garden of the former Baroque palace Dahlen, which is a cultural monument and is gradually being rebuilt through the efforts of the palace association.
The Dahlen Heath offers well-marked hiking trails, diverse flora and fauna, and quiet retreats that invite you to linger. Passionate anglers will also find the right fishing area in the surroundings. The charming forest pool Schmannewitz, with a water slide and diving tower, invites you to swim, and is especially well-suited for smaller non-swimmers. The delightful natural pool Luppa, with its spacious beaches, also excites swimming enthusiasts. Here, nudist friends can enjoy their own reserved section of the beach. In addition to the Dahlener Heide, there are more biking and hiking trails in the Wermsdorfer Forest, another nearby wooded area, known for its ponds and the Hubertusburg hunting lodge. The historically significant town of Torgau, with the impressive Hartenfels Castle complex and the late Gothic St. Mary's Church, where, among others, Katharina von Bora - the widow of Martin Luther - is buried, is well suited for a trip due to its beautiful location right on the Elbe River. The old town of Oschatz is also a very pretty gem with St. Aegidien's town church, whose tower apartment should not be missed when the opportunity arises. For walking and playing on great playgrounds, the O-Schatz-Park is also awaiting you here.
Dahlen has a regional train station and is located on the important Leipzig-Dresden railway line, which is served by the regional express line RE 50 Saxonia-Express. This route connects the two largest cities in Saxony and enables convenient travel for visitors or exciting day trips. The train station is approx. 1,400 m from the apartment, so it can also be reached on foot.
Shopping facilities are also easily accessible, a REWE market and a pharmacy are approx. 350 m away, a Penny market about 300 m away, and a Netto Marken-Discount is located at about 650 m distance. At these markets, there are also outlets of regional bakeries, some of which are also open on Sundays.

Short trip with the wow effect!
We were allowed to use the vacation apartment for a relatively spontaneous short trip (2 nights). Because the stairwell has not been renovated yet, we were briefly confused. This little shock vanished immediately at the new apartment door, and upon opening it, the wow effect came. Everything matched the description and the pictures. Simply beautiful and furnished with a lot of love. Everything you need is there, just as we wished. Also the famously first night in a foreign bed made us all dream wonderfully. Simply perfect! And of course, this also applies to the hosts - warm, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. For us, it is certain, we will come back and then certainly a few more nights. Thank you very much for allowing us to be your guests.
