Hello We had a lot of problems and the first one is regarding the arrival time. On the phone, I was assured twice that someone would be there to welcome us even if we arrived late (11 PM - 9 PM). We arrived at 8:30 PM. Vacancéole's gate was closed. Thanks to passing cars, we were able to enter to go to the reception. CLOSED. Residents on their terrace confirmed that everything was closed from 7 PM. We called all the available numbers on our documents. No answers. We met some police officers who advised us to spend the night in Lunel where there is an Ibis hotel. We did this after trying again to find accommodation at the Espiguette campsite. Everything was full, but the kindness and professionalism of the reception was remarkable. A big thank you to the security guards and the caretaker who lifted our spirits. So we slept at the Ibis hotel. The next day, the hostess from Vacancéole promised us a refund for the hotel, which is 140€. We are still waiting. Since we live near Montmélian, we went there to claim it, but it seems that Vacancéole and Belvilla are passing the buck to delay things. That's it for the trip. And now let's talk about the apartment, which was in a deplorable state. We left photos with Vacancéole. - Completely stained cushions. - Dirty tablecloth. - Unhygienic bedding, mattress stained as if an army of kids had wet the bed. - Dirty pots and pans with completely worn Teflon coating - Greasy dish rack - Feces in the toilet - Cleaning not done at all - etc. We returned to Vacancéole, which gave us a new pot and pan. A man came to the apartment to cover the sofa mattress with a special cover. This allowed us to sleep there. Thank you. And now we are waiting for the refund from the Ibis hotel. The Vacancéole offices in Montmélian told us to send the request to Belvilla. Which has been done.
