Welcome to our charming holiday home Forsthaus Langenthal, located in the idyllic countryside of An der Schmücke, Braunsroda district. With a generous living space of 200 square metres, our holiday home offers space for up to 10 guests. It has four cosy bedrooms and a bathroom, perfect for families or groups.
Our holiday home impresses with its rustic interior with wooden furniture, which is emphasised by large windows and warm lighting. The spacious living area invites you to relax and socialise, while the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee machine offers all the amenities for a culinary experience.
In addition to the washing machine, there is a TV for guests to relax in after an active day in the great outdoors. Our holiday home is a non-smoking accommodation and is also suitable for long-term rentals and craftsmen.
The outside areas of the holiday home are just as impressive as the inside. The spacious garden with its shady trees and the playground offer plenty of space to play and relax. The surrounding countryside with meadows, woods and hills is ideal for walks and bike rides.

Highly recommended for group tours.
We held a family gathering here, rented all three holiday homes, and felt very comfortable. We especially liked that all three houses are located together on a fenced property and that the largest house has a common room where all guests can sit together and have plenty of space. We also really enjoyed the spacious outdoor area with a playground, barbecue area, and seating by all the houses, as well as the location in the forest. No neighbors will be disturbed.
Each house has a kitchen equipped with everything you need. The landlady welcomed us very warmly, asked about our wishes, and gave tips for a planned hike. The communication before and after our stay with Mrs. Kieling was excellent. Thank you for everything!
It's important to know that you should be prepared for self-catering and that in the large house, 10 people have to share a shower room with two showers. For us as a family, this was not a problem.
It was also nice that we could bring our dogs. Due to the fencing of the entire property, they could roam freely.

Birthday trip to the zoo
It was so beautiful and couldn't have been more beautiful. What a huge accommodation, perfectly situated in a forest inviting you for a walk. And not to forget Mrs. Kieling, a very friendly landlady who tries to make sure that you feel good. We were also very excited about the playground right in front of the door. Nothing can happen, as everything is fenced in and nobody can escape. I can only rave. The surroundings and the next village are also great to look at, and we will definitely come back. It's worth it for families because the house is incredibly large and almost everyone has their own toilet and bed, thumbs up for that!
