This holiday house is ideal for a lovely family vacation. The house has 2 bedrooms with 4 sleeping places, a bathroom with a shower and toilet,
a spacious living and dining area with a cozy, large, extendable sofa, a television with Internet TV (WiFi is free) and a radio tuner. The electric underfloor heating and the pellet stove provide comfortable and inexpensive heating during the cold season. The kitchen is very well equipped, with an induction stove, many kitchen utensils, such as a garlic press, egg slicer, lemon squeezer, salad spinner, kettle, toaster, etc., as well as of course a dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and a freezer.

The tastefully and modernly furnished holiday home Riebbedebie, which means in Flemish something like: "I'm off," already promises a wonderful break for its guests by its name. In our beautiful holiday home in the Village Park in De Haan, you can enjoy the sun all day long due to its southern location on a private fenced property with a large garden and terrace. In the holiday park itself, there is a restaurant with an outdoor terrace and a bar with billiards, darts, table football, and for sporting activities a paddle court with 3 courts (fee), a table tennis table, and a trampoline for the little ones.

De Haan has the longest beach on the Flemish coast with its 11 km long and 50-80 meters wide sandy beach. You can take wonderful walks, swim, frolic with your children and build great sandcastles there.
De Haan is perfect for a relaxing day in the sun, on one of the many terraces, enjoying a delicious meal or in heavenly peace in your own garden.
The beach is also the ideal place for dogs to frolic. Between De Haan and the district Vosselslag, there is a dedicated section of the beach where your dog is welcome all year round. Overall, De Haan and its surroundings are very dog-friendly.
For the active vacationer, this place also offers quite a bit: various water sports, extensive walks on the beach or in the sprawling dunes. The area is also ideal for long horseback rides. Discover by bike the picturesque polder villages in the area: Klemskerke, Vlissegem, Nieuwmunster, Houtave, and Meetkerke.
Admire the beautiful and typical Belle Époque houses during a walk through De Haan, or follow the historical route of Albert Einstein in De Haan. He spent several months here in 1933 before he permanently emigrated to the USA. The visit of the Nobel Prize winner left marks (particularly in the form of a statue on the square at Normandiëlaan).
In De Haan and the surrounding area, parking is free everywhere (including near the beach).
De Haan, with its beautiful beach promenade, is the most beautiful seaside resort on the Belgian coast all year round.

Easter holiday in De Haan
We were as a family at the Riebbedebie house over Easter. The reservation was uncomplicated and very friendly. The house is very lovingly furnished and clean. As a family of three, we had enough space, and it is equipped with all the essentials. Our dog felt very comfortable in the fenced garden, which is also well-kept. The house is located in a park near the beach, which can be easily reached on foot. In the village, there are sufficient shopping opportunities, including a bakery. We felt very comfortable, and there was always a contact person available. We were able to enjoy the vacation to the fullest and are considering coming back next year. Thank you very much!
