Description

The ‘Altes Holzfällerhaus’ is located not far from the beautiful Glücksburg beach and offers approximately 100 m² of space for up to five people.
On the ground floor of the detached holiday home, you will find the living room with a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a separate dining room with an extendable dining table and a wood-burning stove, which provides cosy warmth in the house on colder days.
The shower room on the ground floor has a very spacious shower (with high entry), a cosmetic mirror and a washing machine.
In the storage room, you will find a clothes horse and a vacuum cleaner.
The bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with a double bed (180x200 cm), a wardrobe and a desk.
A high chair and a travel cot are available for the little ones.
The hallway leads to a steep staircase to the upper floor, where you will find yourself directly in the second bedroom.
The open, gallery-like room has a double bed (180x200 cm) and chests of drawers, and you also have a great view of the garden.
You will also find board games and books here.
Another living room with a sofa bed and a guest WC are also located on the upper floor. You are welcome to bring your dog with you.
The fenced garden offers plenty of space for dogs and children to run around and play, and there is even a football goal.
You can enjoy your holiday to the full on the garden furniture and sun loungers on the sheltered terrace.
You can store your bicycles in an open, screened shelter in the garden.
There is a small public parking lane opposite for your car, next to a public playground.
Please note that this is an older house and the door frames are quite low at approximately 1.80 meters!

Discover the imposing Glücksburg Water Castle, enjoy a variety of wellness options, and be captivated by the unique natural scenery on and around the water. The approximately 95-kilometer-long FÖRDESTEIG hiking trail leads from the Danish border through Flensburg, Glücksburg, and Langballigau to the Schlei fjord. Along the coast, breathtaking views stretch all the way to Denmark. The Holnis peninsula, with its cliffs and pristine beaches, is a paradise for nature and animal lovers. Hiking trails along the coast, as well as the nature reserve with its salt marshes and ancient sailors' graves, offer diverse experiences. The Glücksburg dog park covers approximately 20 hectares and invites you to enjoy relaxed walks off-leash. The region also has much to offer culturally: the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Haithabu and Danewerk, the Schlei Nature Park, Gottorf Castle, the old Viking settlement of Haithabu, Schleswig Cathedral with its famous Brüggemann Altarpiece, and the fishing village of Holm are among the popular destinations. The towns of Flensburg, Kappeln, Husum, and Rendsburg are also easily accessible, as are the beaches of the Baltic Sea coast and the dunes of Sankt Peter-Ording on the North Sea. For families, the leisure park in Tolk near Schleswig offers fun and entertainment for all ages.

Das alte Holzfällerhaus liegt zauberhaft und ist bestens ausgestattet. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betreuung war bestens. Einziger Mangel waren schlechte Matratzen und ein sehr fleckiges Sofa nach Rückmeldung wurde uns auch hier entgegengekommen

Super Haus, liebevoll gestaltet und mit guter Raumaufteilung in zentraler Lage (fußläufig zum "Strand") Alles da was man braucht, selbst Bücher und Spielzeug für Kids und Große. Perfekt ist auch der Spielplatz genau gegenüber. Haus in relativ ruhiger Straße. Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter.

A wonderful accommodation! Within 4 minutes you were at the beach, the house is generously equipped with plenty of space and comfortable beds. We have rarely experienced a holiday home that is so thoughtfully furnished for guests with sufficient storage space in many cabinets, so that both luggage and groceries can be easily stored on-site in the cabinets. Dishes, cutlery, and glasses are generously available. A beautiful large garden is behind the house, completely fenced in; our dog felt very comfortable. It was a great vacation, thank you very much!
