Holiday home with fantastic view

We enjoyed our vacation here very much and feel completely refreshed. The view of the sea is fantastic. It takes about 12 minutes to walk down to the beach, but it takes a little longer to return because of the uphill climb (the house is located on a hill).
It is very well equipped, and the modern kitchen has everything you need.
The contact with the landlords was very friendly and accommodating. We received a lot of useful information in advance.

Dreamlike location

The flat is highly recommended, plenty of space and a wonderful view of the most beautiful beach in Corsica

Perfect beach holiday

We had a wonderful time in this flat. Very nice and quietly situated on the hillside. With a fantastic view of the sea towards the beautiful beaches of Palombaggia. The flat is very well equipped. Super kitchen with really everything you could need. Nice architecture, very functional and good layout. Enough space for all of us. There was a lot of written information and tips from the host in advance. This was very helpful for excursions etc.. I am very happy to recommend this accommodation with conviction!

Great view of the sea

We spent our vacation here as a family with 3 children and are still very impressed with our week at the Bayer family's holiday home in Palombaggia. The location of the house is very good in the middle of a large garden. The walk to the sea takes about 12 minutes, a little longer uphill. However, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view. There are also parking spaces at the sea, but they are chargeable during the peak season. The house itself is well-equipped, in the apparently new kitchen everything was thought of. We will gladly come back!

Fantastic stay in the house

We felt very comfortable in the house of the Beyer-Zenz family.
The semi-detached house we stayed in is generously proportioned. Everything you need in the household is there. Especially nice is the wonderful terrace, which has already been mentioned several times. The view of the sea is a delight. Early in the morning it is almost meditative. Many thanks for the great and uncomplicated service. We recommend the holiday home 100%. We will definitely be back.

Dream location and very nice landlady

We were able to experience a wonderful 1-week stay - also thanks to a very spontaneous rental by phone (from one day to the next) by the very friendly and uncomplicated landlady. The larger cottage offers space, is well equipped, and has a wonderful location. After the somewhat challenging return from the fantastic beach, you are rewarded with a view of the sea from the refreshing outdoor shower. The only downside is that you have to feed the air conditioning in the bedrooms with 1 euro coins (for 5 consecutive hours) - it would be nice if at least two fans could be provided instead. It would also be good if the mosquito screen in the lower bedroom was repaired and installed, then you could sleep there with the window open. Otherwise, a really nice accommodation.

Wonderful family vacation with 4 children and a dog

Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing family vacation! Beautiful view of the sea. Initially, we were somewhat skeptical about the distance to the beach (15 minutes on foot, relatively steep road). However, once we got used to it, it was not a problem at all. Very nice beach with wonderful water. Very good and friendly care by the landlord family Bayer-Zenz. We would go back anytime and can highly recommend this accommodation for a quiet and relaxing family vacation.

Traumhafte Lage

Very nice vacation rental with a fantastic location. Gorgeous view of the turquoise sea from the terrace. The lovely sandy beach is easily reachable on foot in about 15 minutes. The vacation rental is very well-equipped, and everything is clean and in good condition. As a family of 6, we didn't miss anything. The landlady, Mrs. Bayer-Zenz, provided us with self-compiled information about the surrounding area in advance and during our stay (she was coincidentally also on site at the same time) and gave us tips on shopping and sights. Very nice and uncomplicated contact, thanks again to Mrs. Bayer-Zenz at this point. As a family of 6, we had a very nice holiday here in Corsica which we enjoyed very much. Family vacation with sensational view

We spent 2 weeks here with our 3 children and are delighted by the view of the accommodation; 180-degree view of azure blue water, umbrella pines, maquis, offshore rocks in the water, simply fantastic.
The accommodation is clean, well-maintained, well-equipped, and even an espresso machine is available. Everything has been thought of.
The uphill climb on foot from the beach is somewhat arduous, as the road is partially steep, but the reward was the view. The beach can also be reached by car, the parking lot was no problem in June.
We will definitely come back.

We are still raving...

... from this beautiful family vacation in Palombaggia. The house is located on a hill directly above the beach, offering a magnificent view of the sea across several coves. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. The landlords are very nice and helpful, making you feel more like guests. We were especially lucky with the weather in October - enjoying clear, pleasantly warm beach weather every day. So we have recovered well and left very satisfied, and we are quite sure that this will not be our last stay there.

Always happy to!

The house is gorgeous and the view is even better!

All week we simply enjoyed the sun, the beach, and the tranquility. Everything was relaxed! Breakfast, siestas, and dinner on the terrace, and if you feel like going to the beach, you're there in 10 minutes.

The people were super nice and incredibly helpful.
I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

In need of repair & service in need of improvement

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the accommodation. The contact with the landlord before arrival was friendly and promising. However, we were disappointed on site.
First, the positive aspects: the view of the bays near Palombaggia is truly beautiful. The water color and quality are comparable to the Caribbean. A half point deduction for the quite challenging way to the accommodation. The roads in the area are very narrow and winding. The steep, narrow, and winding road to the house and the location of the carport were problematic, especially when backing out (a car is essential on the island). Disappointingly, upon arrival, we noticed the smell near the holiday home (sewage), the service, the facilities, and ultimately the value for money. We rented the holiday home for 6 people (2 children, 4 adults). Upon arrival, we saw that only 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom were available. The access to the additional bedrooms + bathroom was locked. We were informed that the cleaning lady had made a mistake. The landlord's daughter was on the island, unlocked after 3/4 hour, cleaned up. Afterwards, we were allowed to enter the rooms with a delay. We quickly realized that the house was aging and necessary repairs had not been carried out. A mosquito screen fell out of the guides (unusable), another one could hardly be installed. The trash can was broken and unusable. There was mold in the ground floor shower cabin. The complaint to the landlord's daughter had little effect, so we had to accept the defects. Furthermore, according to the contract, the holiday home is equipped with a well-equipped kitchen. We were missing any oven. Additionally, numerous smaller things were also not as described in the contract. Despite warnings, I had to remove the laundry of the visitors from the washing machine in the private house daily, in order to do my own laundry. Finally: Wastewater from the sewage treatment plant came out in front of the rental houses and smelled bad.

Dreamlike view

We (2 adults + 1 toddler / 2 adults) were in both apartments simultaneously and did not know each other before – now we do, hence the following review for both apartments. The drive to the holiday home is via a narrow and quite steep but well-drivable private road. Upon arrival, you are rewarded with a breathtaking view of Palombaggia Bay. The apartments are really well-equipped, bathrooms clean, kitchen well-equipped, and the beds are great. We were lucky to meet the very nice owner on site. She made our arrival very easy and gave us many valuable tips. Due to the directly adjacent terraces and the shared front courtyard of both apartments, it is easy to get in touch with each other. Overall, we all felt very comfortable and enjoyed the great view again and again.

Dream location.

A paradisiacal place to relax and unwind.
The wide view over the various bays of the sea all the way to Sardinia is simply stunning and incomparable.
The exclusive location on the mountainside makes it possible.
The owner is very warm, friendly, and helpful.
The beaches are considered the most beautiful on the whole island.

We will come back next year.

A great travel destination.

The holiday apartment is beautifully located on a slope with a dreamy view and only a few minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. By car, you can easily explore the south of the island and spend your days hiking, swimming, and visiting cities. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful spacious (family) holiday home in a fantastic location

We were there as a family with three young children. The first thing that blew us away was the absolutely dreamlike location above the coves near Palombaggia: the view from the terrace and from the rooms is absolutely incredible! The whole house, including the other rooms, looks very harmonious and is surrounded by a well-kept and attractive hillside garden. For people with limited mobility, the ascent on foot is probably too steep, but you can easily drive up with a car and be rewarded with a sensational view. By the way, the beach is very suitable for children, gently sloping with white sand and crystal clear turquoise water. The second point we really liked is the size of the holiday home. One of the children's rooms is indeed a connecting room to a smaller room, but our kids loved both rooms and also having their own shower/toilet. Both bathrooms (upstairs there is a "master bath" next to a very lovely bedroom with a double bed and that incredible ocean view again) are remarkably spacious and offer a lot of storage space. We really appreciated not having to bring our own bath linens. And also, the fact that there was a washing machine available. There is no oven, but we didn't miss it for a second. Instead, it has a large dishwasher and a separate freezer.

We always felt that the house was very dear to the owners' family and well-maintained. We felt extremely comfortable and would book again for next autumn without hesitation!

Sehr schönes Urlaubsdomizil

This house provided us with a wonderful shelter. Above the Caribbean beach, you can see the great coves. The walk there takes only 10 minutes. The house offers almost everything you need. What it could use, however, is Wi-Fi and an oven. That was missing for us. Also, the fridge could be bigger.
It was unclear beforehand that one bedroom is a connecting room.
The landlords are super nice and very helpful if they are on-site. We were lucky to meet her.

Relaxing holidays in Palombaggia

Very beautiful and superbly equipped holiday apartment. The description of the apartment is very accurate. Stunning panoramic views from the entire house of the bays and towards the south (sometimes even up to Sardinia). To reach this, you have to take a short steep walk from the beach or drive by car. In June, the beaches were pleasantly empty and the water was already warm. We were there with four adults and two babies and were very satisfied. A travel cot and two high chairs for children were available. We brought a large paddling pool with us, which we found to be helpful for the little ones. We would love to come back!

Traumhaftes Korsika

Rarely was the match between the offered accommodation and the actual domicile greater. The view of the bay during daily breakfast is hard to beat. Everything needed for a pleasant holiday is available in the kitchen and bathroom. The spacious storage options in the bathrooms were particularly great.

Great beach vacation with unbeatable views.

Were there for the 2nd time in September. Location of the accommodation is great. Great view from the terrace. Path to the sea about 15 minutes, without children. Return from the street a bit strenuous as steep street needs to be walked. Keeps you fit though. Otherwise, you have to use the car. Parking on the street possible. Water turquoise and crystal clear. Car is necessary for shopping, but then good shopping opportunities. Several supermarkets in Porto Vecchio. Arrival about 10-15 minutes. Accommodation is good. Everything is available. Not just 4 cups and plates, and not randomly assorted discarded utensils. Landlords can also be on-site. In case of any problems, approach the landlords. They are helpful and open to a nice chat otherwise.
We can only recommend the accommodation. Unfortunately, in this corner of Corsica, all accommodations are not exactly budget-friendly. Especially during holidays.
However, this applies to all accommodations across the board. In direct comparison, we find the price-performance ratio to be okay. One can move around the entire property. We liked it very much. We would definitely spend our holiday there for a third time.

Hello Mrs. Bayer-Zenz. An oven would be nice.
