Our beloved holiday home "Ladan" (The Barn) is a converted barn and offers an unusual cosy atmosphere that provides a wonderful contrast to the hectic everyday life in the city. At the same time, there is real high-speed internet here, so whoever wants or needs to can also work well or stream.
Discover the charming Ladan holiday home in picturesque Eskilsryd in Småland, surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape with forests, meadows and lakes. The approx. 76 square metre house can accommodate up to 6 guests and has 1 bedroom and two sleeping lofts and 1 bathroom and a separate shower.
The newly renovated kitchen is well equipped to make cooking and baking a pleasure, glass doors look out from the kitchen and living room to the garden. There are nice books and board games to pass the time. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and wardrobe and there are two lofts with two beds each - super cosy with sloping roofs and exposed wooden beams and ceiling. All beds are spring beds. In the annexe, right next to the kitchen, is the toilet with a washstand and a separate shower. In the passage there is a fridge-freezer, a Miele washing machine and a Miele dishwasher.
In the cosy living area, a fireplace provides cosy warmth on cool evenings. The high-quality kitchen is equipped with all amenities such as a dishwasher, kettle and coffee maker. Bed linen is provided and a TV keeps you entertained.
Holiday home Ladan is equipped with Wi-Fi and offers the possibility of long-term rental. Please note that the house is a non-smoking property.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located in Eskilsryd, a small village, or rather a few houses and farms along a small road with little traffic. Lake Skärsjön is only 200 metres away. Here there is a popular bathing place with a sandy beach for the children and a bathing jetty. Right next to it there are rowing boats for fishing or a nice discovery tour on the lake. Lake Skärsjön is very rich in fish and the water is clear and clean. In the surrounding forests with many lakes you can pick excellent mushrooms and berries or just enjoy the peace and quiet.
The property is 18000 m2, with lawn, playground, space under the big maple tree. Since the property is fenced, your dog can also run free there and enjoy the freedom. Through the own forest along a forest path you come directly to the bathing place at the lake Skärsjön. For fishing, you can buy a fishing permit at a reasonable price right in the village and rent a rowing boat.
There are many companies in the area that produce design products, lamps and furniture. In Nybro, 15 kilometres away, is Sweden's design archive, where current art and design exhibitions are also arranged. We are happy to give tips for excursions and provide information brochures. The many "loppis" or "antique" shops selling a colourful mix of antiques and flea market items are particularly popular. It is also not far to Kalmar, Öland and Karlskrona, with many beautiful places to visit
