Welcome to La Petite Dame-Lake Maggiore, an oasis of tranquility and relaxation surrounded by greenery, only 100 meters from the picturesque Lake Maggiore and facing the world-famous Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto, in Verbania Pallanza, Italy.
This 75 m² apartment with a 160 m² private garden can accommodate 2 adults and, on request, 1 child (up to 12 years old with a surcharge of €40 per night).
La Petite Dame is located on the mezzanine floor of an elegant, recently renovated historical villa; it offers a private parking and an adjacent pedestrian entrance.
A pathway will lead you to the private garden; access to the apartment is via an external staircase with few steps; you will enter into the bright living room furnished with a comfortable and large sofa, a big dining table, that can be used also as a work station, a 40" smart TV and an open kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils.
The bedroom has a double bed and an armchair that can be converted into a comfortable, single bed to possibly accommodate a third guest (child); or it is possible to have a small bed for babies.
From the bedroom you enter into the walk-in closet, equipped with a chest of drawers, two shelves, coat hangers and also a safe.
The private bathroom has a shower, a bidet and a large, bright window. The bathroom still retains part of the original, perfectly preserved wooden ceiling, which is decorated with an original wrought-iron lamp.
Enjoy the view of your private garden, of the mountains and of the Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto from your covered terrace, furnished with a table and chairs, an ideal place to relax outdoors and enjoy an aperitif or a romantic dinner at sunset.

Only one minute's walk away there is also the embarkation point for lake cruises to the Borromean Islands and to other touristic locations, and only a two-minutes' drive away there is the ferry boarding to the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore from where it is even possible to paraglide.
In addition to relaxing walks or bike rides, there is the possibility of practicing water activities, canoeing, renting a boat, playing golf or tennis, horse-riding, practicing mountaineering activities and making excursions to the close-by mountains, having fun at the adventure park or with the zipline, as well as enjoying excellent gourmet dishes accompanied by quality wines!

A BIT OF HISTORY
La Petite Dame is part of an elegant historical villa that was originally the manor house of Antonio Cappelletto, the first estate administrator of the close-by Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto.
It was also the place where the past Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti, a personal friend of the estate administrator of the Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto, came to relax and recharge. For this reason, a bedroom and a bathroom in the villa were always reserved exclusively for the Prime Minister, with windows overlooking right the private garden of Petite Dame!

Dreamily beautiful apartment in the best location
At the end of June, we were guests in this beautiful apartment. We were warmly welcomed by Roberta and Marco. Their willingness to help, for example, with carrying the luggage, the extensive information about the apartment, sights, and dining options are commendable in every respect. Even throughout the week, they always supported us with advice and assistance. The location of the apartment is excellent even if one is not as mobile anymore or has to use a walker. Shopping opportunities, restaurants, boat docks, ferry connections, and last but not least the beautiful park of Villa Taranto are within walking distance. Additionally, a small train runs at low cost to the centers of Pallanza and Intra.
We can only recommend this apartment to everyone and thank Roberta and Marco for the wonderful time we were able to spend with them.

Fantastic holiday home
The house is beautiful and has a great location near the lake and a good bar. A 15-minute walk takes you to Intra, a beautiful town. You can take the ferry right from your doorstep and go in all directions.
The house is fully equipped, super clean. And what is also very practical: your own parking space.
Roberta and Marco are very nice people and always there for you; they want to help with everything.
