This spacious holiday home is located near the Wadden Sea, on the edge of the charming town of Højer. Once a private residence, the house has been converted into a bright and well-equipped holiday retreat set in peaceful rural surroundings. On the ground floor, you will find a large living room with a comfortable sofa, TV with a selection of Danish and German channels, and a Nintendo Wii for entertainment. A dining table offers plenty of space for the whole family to gather. The ground floor also includes a spacious bedroom with a double bed and ample storage, as well as a bright bathroom with a shower. A practical utility room is equipped with a washing machine and dryer, and families with young children will appreciate the high chair and cot available in the house. Upstairs in the attic, there are two additional bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed. This layout makes the house ideal for families or small groups traveling together, offering both shared spaces and private rooms. Outdoors, guests can enjoy two terraces, one of which is covered and perfect for barbecues or relaxing in the summer weather. A small enclosed playground is also available, making the property particularly family-friendly. The surrounding area is both scenic and inviting, with easy access to water, forests, and wide open landscapes. It is a wonderful setting for long walks, birdwatching, or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the Wadden Sea region. Various excursion destinations are also within easy reach, offering opportunities for cultural visits and day trips. The house is equipped with an iron, ironing board, and vacuum cleaner for added convenience. Please note: Rental is not available for youth groups.A refundable deposit may be charged before check-in to cover utilities and additional services. It is adjusted to actual usage, and any remaining balance is refunded within 21 days after checkout.

The holiday home is in good condition. Very much space in the living area and the lower bedroom. The back terrace is fenced and the seating area is protected from rain. On the front terrace, one sits fenced by the street opposite a small park. The heating bodies in the house are non-functional. The underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom works (electric?). No district heating or energy-saving house. In the living room, one must heat with an air conditioning system. Due to this heating situation, the accommodation costs naturally increase. The location of the holiday home is very quiet despite the road, in a small place a few kilometers from Hoyer. Shopping can be done in Hoyer and Tondern. Gastronomy can be found in Tondern. Recommendations: At the end of March, it can be very stormy and changeable. We were at the lock in Hoyer and various places in the area. We liked Romo the best. Very wide beach with space for the dogs. Very good fish business with snack bar. The nearby Tonder is also a nice town with shopping options. Attention: the prices for drinks in bistros and cafes are very expensive in comparison (about 65 DKK for a large glass of cola). A meal with a drink costs about 30 euros. Recommendation for excursions: Tonder, Romo, beaches near Apenrade on the North Sea coast.

The two terraces were a highlight for us, We spent our mornings drinking coffee outside, and enjoyed barbecues in the evenings, The covered terrace is a nice addition when the weather is not perfect,

The location was fantastic for exploring the Ribe Cathedral and the Wadden Sea National Park. The pet-friendly policy made it easy to bring our dog along.

A beautiful retreat for our family! The house was clean and comfortable, with enough space for everyone. The children enjoyed the outdoor play area, and we loved the nearby dining options, especially the Balkan pizza. We will come back!
