Description
This is cozy design lodge called Atpuhta (Leisure). Located in most beautiful place in Riga - Vecāķi. It is old fisherman area, with river just across the street, beach Vecāķi in 15 min walk, and forest full of beautiful pinetrees.
Lodge Atpuhta is located in private territory, with place for parking.
It is designed till the smallest details and made with love by ourselves, it is very cozy and romantic place from inside the studio to outside on the cute terrace and garden.
Please note that in our territory we have 2 households, our lodge is located closer to the river. You may see other members of our family and driveway will be used for both households.
This is studio type lodge, where the only closed place is bathroom. For privacy there are curtains for all windows and doors, also on terrace curtains and wooden walls will give you more privacy.
Lodge is in one level with terrace.
Please note that for sleeping we have one double bed (140x200cm), and one sofa bed (110x200cm). For babies we can offer extra baby bed.
This place is perfect for couples, but its maximum capacity is 2 adults and 2 small children.
You are welcome to use all areas of our lodge and its terrace, also you can park your car next to our lodge. As well you may use garden in front of lodge.
There is nice swimming area just across the street and in 15 min walk you will be at our beautiful Vecāķi beach.

Lodge Atpuhta is located in most beautiful place in Riga - Vecāķi. It is old fisherman area, with river just across the street, beach Vecāķi in 15 min walk, and forest full of beautiful pinetrees.
Detailed description:
The name "Vecāķi" is usually associated with the ancient riverbed of the Daugava. In the past, the Daugava flowed into the sea about a kilometer west of the current Vecāķi village, its bed formed an S-shaped bend here - a "hook" (in latvian it means āķi). In the middle of the last century, the old mouth of the river was completely blocked, but the bends of the old river and thus the name of the place have been preserved.
In the middle of the 19th and 20th centuries, Vecāķi began to develop into a place for recreation and swimming. Then Vecāķi also began to acquire the contours of a resort (german: Bad Magnushof) and the wooden buildings so characteristic of the seaside were built.

- You will be refunded the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 4 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.

Hi, i am Agnese. Together with my husband Janis, we offer our guests nice and cozy place to stay in the most beautiful place in Riga. I am interior designer and mother of two wonderful kids. Together we have just finished our lodge by ourselves and with love, and we hope our guests will have wonderful holidays here. Our family lives next to our lodge and most of the time we will be reachable. I speak english and latvian, but my husband speaks german, english and latvian. If german language is preferable, main contact for german guests may be my husband Janis, as he is also german. We are open to new ideas, so please dont hesitate to contact us in any matter.
