Location and surroundings of object

The accommodation is located in the small town of Burgkunstadt in Upper Franconia on the Obermain in the district of Lichtenfels.
You live quietly over two floors on the outskirts of the town. You can reach the natural garden on a slope via stairs and visit our two bee colonies
you can visit our two bee colonies.
The historic market place is only a 10-minute walk away. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in Burgkunstadt and the surrounding area. Travelling by train is possible, there is an own train connection.
Connection to the nearby Main cycle path between Kulmbach and Lichtenfels.

Perfect stay

Very very cozy and clean apartment. Well-equipped kitchen.
Extremely friendly hosts who still respected my privacy very much.
Great view from the garden behind the house.
You do not share a wall with other tenants or residents, etc. Therefore, the apartment is also very quiet. This was great for my daughter's nap. All in all. Highly recommended. Regards, Marco

Maybe there will be a third visit someday.

It was like the first visit, everything very clean and friendly landlords. The furnishings of the apartment are very extensive and lovingly decorated. The sofa bed for the third person is not a standard sofa but one of high quality and sleeping comfort. In summer, the lower living area is pleasantly cool, and even on the first floor, it was very comfortable despite the heat. If we travel to the area again, this apartment would be our first choice. Everything is great.

Very nice vacation apartment. Location in Burgkunstadt is convenient for both hiking and city sightseeing (Bamberg, Kronach, Staffelstein, Kulmbach, Coburg). Also well suited for outings without a car, as the train station is quickly reached.
Top amenities, very fair price, hosts very friendly and always helpful.
What more could you want? Recommendation!

As described in the advertisement, everything is correct. The Schmidt family is very friendly and helpful. If there are questions, you always receive a very nice answer. We spent some wonderful days here and plan to spend the Easter holidays 2025 here again. Thank you once again for the lovely days.

Very gladly again to the holiday apartment "Honeybee"

The vacation rental "Honey Bee" exceeded our expectations and was a stroke of luck for us!

- centrally located near public transport (bus/train)
- great amenities (everything was provided and in top condition), super clean, tastefully and lovingly decorated with attention to detail
- everything as described and as seen in the photos
- great service, i.e. The landlords took great care of us and were always available to talk.
- The price/performance ratio is also very good.

We will gladly book again and are already looking forward to our next stay in the vacation apartment "Honeybee."

Very nice accommodation - would love to stay again sometime!

If the first impression is right, you immediately feel comfortable. That's how it was during our stay. Very nice apartment on 2 levels, which is richly equipped. The handover of the apartment by the hosts was very warm and uncomplicated. You can use a covered terrace, as well as a beautiful, well-thought-out natural garden with a magnificent view. Ideal for 2 people. A comfortable sofa bed is available in the living room for a third person. Unfortunately, the windows cannot be darkened, otherwise we might come next year with 3 people.

Feeling comfortable from the beginning

The apartment is lovingly furnished and has a cozy atmosphere. The Schmidts are warm and friendly, living a few minutes away by car. Mrs. Schmidt is a beekeeper, with a knowledgeable heart for nature, and sells delicious honey and other natural products. Choosing this apartment was a stroke of luck for us. We would definitely come back.

Holiday home for a beautiful vacation

The holiday home was spacious and well located. There were parking options on the street in front of the house. The house was clean and modernly furnished. We didn't miss anything. We particularly appreciated the garden with its offering of fresh herbs. The hospitality of Kerstin Schmidt and her husband was very helpful and pleasant, but not intrusive. Since there is a lot to explore in the surrounding area, we will definitely strive for another stay in this beautiful accommodation on our next vacation.
