Description
Our 500-year-old, listed, large holiday house with medieval house hall, well-equipped kitchen, lounge and large TV as well as small library is open to 4-11 guests in 5 double rooms and one single room.
The sleeping quarters are located on the upper floor and in the attic and have their own shower bathrooms. Only on the top floor do the two plank rooms 5 and 6 share a large bathroom.
Wifi is available free of charge in the house.
Freiberg is located in the middle of the World Heritage Site Montanregion Erzgebirge/Kushnahori and can be the starting point for many interesting excursions in the surrounding area.
The holiday home is located in Freiberg in the immediate vicinity of many sights, good restaurants, the shopping district Burgstraße, Obermarkt, Tierpark, Albertpark...

In the middle of the old mining town of Freiberg, on the Untermarkt in the cathedral quarter, you will find peace and relaxation in our holiday home.
There are also a variety of leisure activities. The city of Freiberg offers a wide range on its website freiberg.de.
The castle and the cathedral with Silbermann organ, cloister and the world-famous Golden Gate are a "must".
Sports and recreation facilities can also be found there, e.g. the Johannisbad or the Wellness Oasis Salt Grotto.
Numerous good restaurants and shopping facilities are located in the immediate vicinity of the Domherrenhaus. Almost everything in Freiberg is within easy walking distance.
The nearby Osterzgebirge mountains invite you to go hiking. And mining signs can be found everywhere!

Dream accommodation
Do you want to feel like you're in the Middle Ages without missing out on luxury? Only 10 meters from the Cathedral (you can't hear it!), a medieval cathedral residence, lovingly furnished with great accessories and Erzgebirge decorations, everything is provided, nothing is missing! We had a wonderful vacation here with five of us, very friendly landlady. Here, a dream holiday apartment awaits vacationers in the magnificent Ore Mountains, who appreciate the special or simply want to be transported back to the Middle Ages. Very clean! Dresden, Meissen, Moritzburg, Seiffen, Annaberg-Buchholz - all reachable in 30 to 50 minutes, Freiberg itself is enchanting.

We were warmly welcomed by the landlady and shown into the holiday apartment. The centrally located apartment is wonderfully cozy, lovingly equipped, and perfect for a large group. Everything is thought of: both in the kitchen, in the bathrooms, and in the spacious, stylish living area. There are issues with loading and unloading luggage. Please inquire more specifically beforehand.

Wonderful holiday home for a comfortable stay together
The Domherrenhaus, located directly in the old town, is a wonderful place to come together. The beautifully and high-quality furnished rooms offer various possibilities to enjoy valuable time together. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bedrooms are cozy. The entire living space was clean and the communal areas pleasantly warm even in winter. Due to its location, the most important points of interest are also within walking distance. Special thanks go to the accommodating hostess, who not only provided essential groceries for a good start (mineral water, coffee) but also ensured Christmas lighting and a fine selection of games.
