Very good contact with the owner, We received clear instructions on how to reach the chalet and the key code in advance, The car cannot park near the chalet, but there is only a small path to walk, This was already clear in the instructions, The chalet is very nice, with pretty plants, photos, and toys for the children, The chalet was clean and tidy, The terrace was beautiful, with a nice view between the trees, Taking a shower in the bathtub with a (thankfully clean) shower curtain was also very nice, The rooms were spacious, so there was enough space for suitcases or bags, In the kitchen, we lacked nothing, there were enough pots to cook, as well as enough glasses, cutlery, etc, In the area, there is a lot to discover about 25 minutes away, The citadel of Dinant is really worth a visit and the Furfooz nature park was also very enjoyable for the children.

From the (albeit dated, but reasonable) chairs, you look out at the crown of an oak tree and feel as if you are in the forest. With the wood stove on, it is quite cozy. But unfortunately, the stay leaves much to be desired. For a week’s stay, there was one dish towel as “kitchen linen.” The extractor hood lighting does not work, the buttons of the electric stove are almost unreadable, and mood lighting is absent except for an old paper lamp. The lighting consists of two spots with bright LED lamps – very lacking in atmosphere. The condition of the beds is downright poor. In the bunk bed, slats are missing, others are torn, and the bottom is temporarily repaired with a piece of insulation board. The mattresses are mediocre, a duvet was missing, and the sofa bed smells like a wet dog. The smell was also noticeable in the cabinets and on the mat. Furthermore: no hand soap or towel in the toilet, a rickety terrace door that you have to slam shut, a mini-oven that fits exactly two rolls, and only two garbage bags for eight people for an entire week. The owner responded kindly, arranged a duvet, and offered apologies, but that was it. In short: a disappointing experience in a beautiful setting, in a cottage with much potential — provided it is thoroughly renovated and better maintained.

This bungalow met our expectations. It was clean and functional, with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was pleasant, but we didn't spend much time there as we were always outside exploring the beautiful surroundings. The free ferry across the Meuse was also a fun experience!

We had a wonderful time in this cozy bungalow! It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The location is quiet, making it an ideal place to relax. We particularly enjoyed our visits to the nearby Domaine du Bonsoy and the beautiful Annevoie gardens. We will definitely return!

What a lovely stay in the bungalow in Hastière! The spacious living room was perfect for our family gatherings, and we enjoyed many meals on the terrace, thanks to the well-equipped kitchen. The nearby mini waterfall was a pleasant surprise during our exploration. I highly recommend it for families!

The cottage is very quiet with a view of a green oasis of trees from the balcony and through large windows. It is located near Dinant and other interesting destinations for day trips. The kitchen is in good order. Unfortunately, the layout of the cottage does not match the description on the website: As people over 80, we had consciously chosen the description: 'Ground floor: bathroom, 2-person bed, living room'... The layout is as follows: On the ground floor, there is the bathroom and a bedroom with a bunk bed. One level down (7 steps), without a handrail, is the living room, kitchen, and balcony, and one level up (5 steps) are 2 bedrooms with a double bed and with 2 single beds. Due to the stairs, it was uncertain for us to move around the house. A complaint about this has been submitted to Belvilla, requesting an adjustment to the description. A response will follow.
