Omisalj is one of the oldest towns on the island of Krk, with a history that dates back to the third century. It is also the first town you reach on the island of Krk after leaving the mainland and crossing the Krk Bridge.

The town itself is built on an 80-meter-high cliff and offers a panoramic view of the Kvarner Bay. Omišalj has maintained its medieval city structure, and the charming old town with its narrow alleyways is a pedestrian zone.
