Villa Saltkråkan is located on a plot of just under sqm with a direct view of the Baltic Sea. The shore of Kalmar Sound is a minute's walk away. Villa Saltkråkan is a completely new construction. Villa Saltkråkan has 3 single bedrooms. In addition and included in the price is the guest house. Here 2 persons can sleep on a sofa bed. Under the roof is a sleeping loft for 2-3 persons (ideal for children and teenagers). The guest house has its own bathroom (shower, WC, washbasin) and a TV connection/DVD - here you can also receive Swedish TV programmes, in the main house all the usual German channels. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine (all Bosch), microwave. The bathroom is completely tiled and, like the whole house, has underfloor heating. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, washbasin, sauna, washing machine and dryer.
Fireplace in the living room, TV, stereo/CD, DVD, large wooden sun terrace with embedded swimming pool. In our attached "glass house" you can enjoy the view of the Baltic Sea even in bad weather. In autumn and winter, a second fireplace warms you here.
Of course, garden furniture, barbecue etc. belong to the further equipment.
The equipment shed is available for your bicycles.

The tool shed is available for your bicycles. The holiday home is located directly at the tip of the island of Oknö. From here you have a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea - only one minute (approx. 100 metres) to the water. Small residential street (dead end) with approx. 11 houses. Absolute quietness in a dream location! NEW CONSTRUCTION! Large children's playground 3 minutes walk away.
Oknö is a beautiful island in the Kalmarsund, which you reach by car over a small dam. It is almost exclusively built-up with holiday houses. Oknö is surrounded by small archipelagos, and there are beaches, bathing and barbecue areas everywhere. Tennis, mini golf, jogging, several playgrounds, marina.
Also ideal for Nordic walking!
Oknö is one of the sunniest areas in Sweden.

Our tip from experience:Think about your Christmas and New Year's Eve holiday now!!! Villa Saltkråkan is on the ground floor and is essentially suitable for wheelchair users inside the house, please ask specifically. There is a small step in front of the entrance.

Christmas at Villa Saltkrakan
For the second time on Oknö we have now returned from our first winter holiday. Conclusion: Even in winter, or perhaps especially in winter, Oknö has an unmistakable charm. Absolute tranquillity, a little winter storm and unfortunately no real snow. Nevertheless, absolutely recommendable. The house even welcomed us pre-heated, great when you arrive in the middle of the night and everything is warm. Many thanks to the landlord family who took care of everything in advance (for example, where to get the firewood) and also for making it possible to arrive and depart outside the normal changeover days. We can definitely recommend Villa Saltkrakan, nothing was lacking. We are looking forward to the next time. Family Pieske

Villa Saltkrakan does not exist.
We have just returned from our first trip to Sweden. In short, that was not the last trip to Sweden, even though November is certainly not one of the best travel months. Since the weather was as it usually is in November, we spent a lot of time in the wonderful Villa Saltkrakan. A holiday home that couldn't have been better. Everything is just right here. The bedrooms are not particularly big, but there is a really large open kitchen and dining area that opens into the living room. In the living room, there is a fireplace, which is common in many holiday homes, but there is also a fireplace in the conservatory - simply fantastic with a direct view of the Baltic Sea. While the living room has modern furniture, the landlords have chosen two old Swedish kitchen benches for the conservatory. We think it's very tasteful. We didn't use the guest house, but it also made a great impression (with a sleeping loft and its own bathroom). Everything is extremely clean, even better than in the photos. The many tips we received from the super nice landlords before and during the trip were also great. There is also a caretaker on site. We would love to come back and can recommend it without any restrictions.

Family vacation in Smaland
Top house in a great location, almost directly by the sea. An ideal starting point for families with children for excursions. Especially for Astrid Lindgren fans. Many places from the books can be reached within an hour. The house is located in a quiet residential street with few neighbors. The villa made an absolutely well-kept impression upon our arrival - unfortunately, it was raining - everything was clean and tidy, just as described. Unlike in the photos, there is even a flat-screen TV now. Our favorite spot was the conservatory with two beautiful old Swedish kitchen benches and even a second fireplace. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is there, also in large quantities for larger families. Plenty of space, especially thanks to the associated guest house. The favorite place for the children. We would like to mention the friendliness of the landlords, who were always available to us and helped us with advice and assistance in planning our holiday. It's great that a boat is included with the house. We had a wonderful week at Villa Saltkrakan and can wholeheartedly recommend the house 100 percent and will definitely come back.
