Holiday home surrounded by the rugged Norwegian nature, with a secluded location, peace and quiet. Beautiful views of the mountains and only a short distance to the deep fish-rich Åkrafjord. Welcome to the slightly different holiday cottage from the early 19th century with no internet. Here, you are far from modern life and can enjoy the nostalgic and good old fashioned cabin life. At the same time, the cabin is equipped with everything you need for a successful stay. Electricity and water installed, washing machine, TV, heaters, and several wood stoves to get a lovely room temperature. Firewood can be ordered from the owner against payment. Well equipped kitchen. One bedroom is in total original condition from the previous century, but with a great double bed. Terrace with outdoor furniture where you can enjoy the view and the fresh air. Great hiking possibilities and views that will take your breath away. A small grocery store in the center of Åkra. Short drive to Rosendahl and the glacier and other nice day trips. Boat can be rented on request from the owner before the stay. 12-foot Ashkeladden with 10 HP. Great fishing in the fjord (Åkrafjorden).

The view from the terrace was incredible, especially at sunset. We had a fantastic time fishing in the fjord. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped.

This place is a treasure! It feels like traveling back in time with its charming old-fashioned features, but it has all modern amenities. The kids loved exploring the nearby hiking trails, and fishing in the Åkrafjorden was fantastic. We will definitely come back!

Great location, very quiet, clean and comfortable, everything worked well, the outdoor area was perfect for relaxing, would recommend to anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle.

A beautiful holiday home with enough space for our two families. We went on some hikes nearby, and fishing in the Åkrafjord was a highlight for the men. The owners were friendly and provided us with firewood, which made our stay cozy. Overall a great experience!
