This is a detached, fully air-conditioned holiday home.
The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a large living and dining area with kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with various small electrical appliances (toaster, coffee maker, etc.), a large refrigerator (separate freezer compartment), an electric cooker with oven and a washing machine. The living room and the kitchen are furnished in such a way that four people (and visitors) can manage very well.
In the air-conditioned living room, apart from the usual furniture, there is also a fireplace and another sofa bed. The bathroom has a large shower, a toilet and a washbasin. There are air-conditioning units in the bedrooms and in the living-dining room. Both bedrooms have direct access to the rear terrace and the adjoining garden. The bedrooms are equipped with wardrobes and chests of drawers in addition to the beds. Several fruit trees grow in the garden. Figs, mandarins, oranges, grapefruits and pomegranates. Depending on the season, you are welcome to help yourself. Furthermore, there is a garage on the property with beach chairs and various beach utensils. In front of the garage, to the right of the house, there is a large pergola. Here you can park up to three cars in the shade. The front, large terrace is ideal for relaxing or taking meals. Outdoor furniture is available. There is another large palm tree in the front garden. Other palm trees have unfortunately fallen victim to the great palm tree die-off in 2015/16. The house is fenced all around so that children / dogs are safe.

Those travelling by car usually arrive in Patras by ferry. From here it is about a 2-hour drive. If you arrive by plane and land in Athens Venizelos, you can take the Proastiakos (suburban train) from there to Corinth. For the remaining distance (approx. 10 km), you can continue by bus or taxi.
Another possibility is to rent a car in Athens and reach the house via the motorway in about 1 1/2 h. Lechaion is a small holiday resort near Corinth
Many Athenians spend their holidays and weekends here. You quickly come into contact with the locals
The small town of Lechaion is a bathing resort for the locals and is characterised by good water quality. This makes it an ideal bathing resort. If you go from the pebble beach into the sea, you come to a very long sandbank. Ideal for swimming, playing, snorkelling and aqua-walking. Very suitable for children and non-professional swimmers. From the house, it is no problem to jump into the water, e.g. before breakfast.
A large shopping centre is only about 10 minutes away by car. There are also various shopping facilities in the village itself
On the beach of Lechaion there are several taverns, restaurants and beach bars, so that there is something for every budget and age. All these culinary offerings are within walking distance, without any noise disturbance to the holiday home. Highly recommended is the Kallas Beach. (10 min. left along the beach road) Here you will find a good mix between "jumping into the water for a change", "taking a shower" and "moving cabins"
(showers and changing cabins) and "have a bite to eat or a drink (the prices are totally OK). Beach loungers are plentiful and free of charge. Where else can you find something like that?

Ideal places for excursions are in the immediate vicinity
Near Corinth is the Isthmus (a 6400 metre long canal) of Corinth, which connects the Saronic Gulf and the Gulf of Corinth
In the city of Corinth (approx. 6000 inhabitants) you will find everything a small Greek city has to offer. Various shopping facilities, weekly markets (Saturday/Wednesday), beach promenade, marina, banks, doctors and a hospital
The archaeological site of Old Corinth and a historical fortress (the Kastro) are also only 10 minutes away by car
From the Kastro you can enjoy a beautiful view over the whole region. By the way, this is the mountain where the famous Sisyphus from Greek mythology tried to roll a boulder up.
Another possibility is to drive to Loutraki, a typical tourist and health resort, in about 20 minutes. Here you will find a spa, discos, bars, tavernas and a casino. A long beach promenade with various restaurants and shopping facilities invites you to linger and shop. See and be seen is the motto here.
If you drive through the village of Loutraki, you will reach a beautiful sea lake with swimming opportunities in crystal-clear water.
The historic towns of Epidauros with its famous amphitheatre, Mycenae with its excavations and the historic town of Nafplio can be reached in a day trip without any stress.

It was an unforgettable holiday
We spent almost 3 weeks with our dog in this beautiful accommodation! It is all fenced in and so our dog could run around the house at any time without fear that he would run away.
The house is comfortably furnished with everything you need.... (except wifi) But this was the most relaxing holiday... The sea is not far away!
Tavernas are everywhere! Simply great.
And the landlady is a very uncomplicated woman!1
Unfortunately I couldn't meet her in person but she was very friendly on the phone!
I would like to go there again soon

We spent 3 weeks in Lechaion with 4 adults. Super weather, simply wonderful. The beach is close to the house. Nearby attractions include Old Corinth and the castle with a magnificent view from the top. I can only recommend it to everyone. I would like to add that the Greeks are all friendly and helpful. So no hostility towards us Germans. I cannot judge the service as we arranged everything ourselves with the landlord. Thank you for the lovely vacation.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Mit dem Auto ist man schnell an allen Kulturstätten. Besonders zum empfehlen der Markt in Korinth. Obst Gemüse alles zu super Preisen.
free time activities: Es ist für jeden was angeboten.
shopping facilities: In der nähe kleiner Supermarkt. Aber ansonsten Lidl ect. in 5-6 km

beautiful holiday
This was a really nice holiday for me and my girlfriend. we have been here 2 times already.
If you don't feel like lying on the beach, you can stroll through the Corinthian city, which you can easily reach from the holiday home, as well as other beautiful sights.
Really a beautiful area.

Vicinity of the holiday home: schöne lage strand direkt vor der tür.
free time activities: die vermietung hat einiges vor ort(schlauchboot, etc. )
sowie wander möglichkeiten,viele kulturelle bauwerke in naher umgebung.
shopping facilities: die strasse hoch ist ein kleiner einkaufsladen,etwas weiter weg befindet sich ein spar laden.
für shopping interresenten gibt es in Korinth viel auswahlmöglichkeiten.
