Description
Sjöstugan is a lovingly furnished, converted farmhouse typical of Sweden. It is located next to the landlords' property directly on Sweden's third largest lake, the Mälaren, in a real Bullerbü idyll
You can swim in Lake Mälaren right outside the front door from the jetty or from the public bath with beach and playground very close by. A paddle boat and a rowing boat are available for hire.
With a bit of luck, you can even watch our moose family from the balcony.

Excellent location within sight of Stockholm
This holiday home has a unique, quiet location. With a few steps you are at the lake Mälaren with a view over Stockholm. Around the holiday home in a quiet settlement there is wonderful nature to experience. The lake, typical Swedish forests and small moss-covered rocks. There are several sights within a short distance, especially Drottingholm Castle. Nevertheless, it takes about 45 minutes by car to get to the city centre
The property is fenced. The lake invites you to swim or row. A rowing boat and a canoe are available. If you get up early, you can watch the beavers directly at the jetty.
The facilities leave nothing to be desired, and as a bonus, the hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the week in Sjöstugan very much. 3 adults and 3 dogs felt completely at home here.

Fantastic location for rest and relaxation near the lake - at the same time the best starting point for visits to Stockholm.house and property are very well maintained and comfortably furnished. Everything you need is available in the kitchen and bathroom. Nice excursions nearby, very nice landlords. Thank you for this wonderful week.

Schwedenurlaub - wie man ihn sich vorstellt!
Wir haben das Ferienhaus durch Zufall beim Recherchieren im Internet gefunden und uns bei der Ankunft sofort wohlgefühlt! Direkt am See gelegen mit Bootssteg und Badesteg konnten wir bei traumhaften Wetter unsere Zeit genießen. Schloss Drottningholm liegt nur ca. 15 min entfernt, Stockholm nicht mehr als 30 km! Nach einem anstrengenden Sightseeing-Tag ist es sehr entspannend am Abend in das gemütliche kleine Haus zu kommen. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen!
