Skiing holiday in February
The house has a perfect location. Other holiday homes do not have a view of the holiday home property, yet they are not far away (the nearest approx. 150m). The holiday home is at the end of a dead-end street. The nearest cross-country ski trail is only 50m from the house (but also no view possible), so you can strap on your skis right at the house and now have access to the huge network of trails (approx. 3000km), which is always in top condition and offers plenty of variety for every level of difficulty. There are skating and classic tracks. The snow reliability and quality is unparalleled, with 2 metres of natural snow throughout. Lillehammer is not far away in fact, but it still takes a good half hour by car through lonely forest landscapes. Day trips to the Nasjonalparkriket are also possible and recommended. Downhill skiing is also very good, especially recommended is the huge (yet hardly visited) Hafjell. The house may seem a bit small, but it is big enough for five people and has everything you need. The living room is even quite large and very cosy with the fireplace. However, only one person can work in the kitchen, otherwise it is too small. A well-stocked supermarket (KIWI mini) and a restaurant are not far away
Both the cabin and the landscape fulfil every Scandinavian winter cliché. Especially for cross-country skiing fans, the largest cross-country skiing area in Europe is a dream.
