This property’s charm lies in its cozy layout. Everything was convenient for us older travelers, we felt right at home here.

The staff was friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the sauna every evening after exploring Hvalpsund.

Booked through Belvilla, but it turned out that the Danish organization Dancenter was the actual landlord. Upon arrival, the cottage could not really be called clean; there was even a bag of moldy carrots in the refrigerator. When opening the information folder, the first page turns out to be a list of dos and don'ts, including fines if not followed correctly. Furthermore, an unexpected 'Safety deposit' had to be paid of a substantial amount, which is used to settle water, electricity, and any potential fines. The refund has been pending for almost 4 weeks now. All in all, we did not experience the Danish friendliness here that we always encounter in other places. For us, this is a reason not to choose Belvilla, Daniel Dancenter anymore, but rather to opt for personal landlords on AirBnb again.

The property is large and surrounded by trees and bushes and is located in a holiday home area. The beach is about 500 m away, and the town is approximately 3 km. We felt very comfortable there. Recommendations: We visited, among other places, the island of Fur and the limestone quarries of Mönsted from there.

At the end of the 'Hvalpsund peninsula' there are beautiful walks to take. We had the impression that it was a detached house; it turns out to be located in a holiday park that is very generously designed. The expected peace was present!
