A pellet stove ensures warmth and a welcoming atmosphere on cooler nights. Outside, a 45 m² terrace provides the perfect spot to enjoy the Danish sunshine or host relaxed barbecue evenings. For added fun and relaxation, the property includes an outdoor bathing tub, allowing you to soak under the open sky while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The combination of indoor comfort and outdoor amenities makes this home a perfect choice for those looking to unwind by the coast. With its prime location at Fjellerup Strand, you are just a short stroll from sandy beaches where children can play safely, while nearby paths and natural surroundings offer opportunities for walks and exploration. Blending traditional charm, modern conveniences, and outdoor leisure, this holiday home provides a memorable seaside escape for families and friends. There is a pellet stove in the house, which is intended for use with small wood pellets rather than regular firewood. Pellets can be purchased at the house address and paid for via MobilePay. There is also a heat pump in the house. Please note: rental to youth groups is not permitted.A refundable deposit may be charged before check-in to cover utilities and additional services. It is adjusted to actual usage, and any remaining balance is refunded within 21 days after checkout.

The new building is of course new and very nicely furnished. We were there for the second time now. And would go again. Positive: very large, kitchen very well equipped, fire pit, wooden tub as a bathtub, many sleeping options. Negative: the electricity prices are quite expensive despite solar panels. We spent 80 euros in two weeks. Recommendations: Unfortunately, there is no cappuccino in the ice cream parlors on site. They do have the machine but have said for two weeks that the machine is broken. I think they didn't want to turn you on because cleaning is too much effort.

"The house is in generally good condition. Kitchen, the two bathrooms, a large bedroom, and the dining area are very new. The rest of the house is very well maintained but has aged. The new owner seems to be modernizing it gradually. The property has a good size for relaxing or playing with the children. In the morning, we had breakfast on the open terrace in the morning sun, then packed the cart with beach things and went about the approx." Walked 300m to the sandy beach. The beach is well-suited for children as small "sand islands" form depending on the water level, so one can go quite far into the water (about 200-300m for an adult). A few hundred meters away is the Waffelhuset. In one of the two buildings, there are ice cream and warm meals, and in the other, only ice cream and coffee. The ice cream is not exactly cheap, but it is very large ð. In the evening, we tried the Hut Tube. The wood for this can be bought at various corners at small self-service huts. For this, as a non-Dane, you need a bit of cash since you have to pay either with kroner or with your phone (at least at the two places we checked). With the phone, it only works via an app for which you need a Danish account. The hot tub was full and heated within a maximum of 2 hours. It was a great experience and we are now considering getting one at home as well. Afterwards, we spent the evenings winding down on the terrace. Very close by (about 20-25 minutes by car) is the amusement park Djurs Sommerland. I wasn't there myself, but our older and younger vacationers (13-27 years) were thrilled. The park also has a small water slide area that was unfortunately very crowded that day and not used. Also about 25 minutes away is the zoo Skandinavisk Dyrepark. You can also easily spend a few hours there. spend (Best to bring food). The park is not comparable to those in Germany where quite a few different animal species can be seen, but you can linger in many corners and let your gaze wander. A trip to the Kattegatcentret in Grenaa is also worth it. The aquarium is located directly by the sea at the port of Grenaa. All in all, we were very satisfied with the very quietly located house (cul-de-sac), the property, the furnishings, and the surroundings. Clear thumbs up👍 for this vacation.
