additional information:

Lautenbach
Lautenbach is located at the entrance to the Renchtal valley in the northern Black Forest with a population of around 2,000. More than two thirds of the municipality's area consists of forests.
Lautenbach is very attractive to tourists as a climatic health resort with its wine and fruit-growing areas. The vineyards belong to the Ortenau wine-growing region in the Baden wine-growing area. The municipal coat of arms refers to winegrowing.
Lautenbach's landmark is the late Gothic pilgrimage church "Mariä Krönung", built between 1471 and 1488.
Those who want to explore the landscape can cycle along the Renchtal cycle path or hike along the Panoramaweg, the Lautenbacher Hexensteig quality hiking trail or the Teufelssteig on the other side of the valley.
Oberkirch
Oberkirch lies on the edge of the Upper Rhine Plain at the entrance of the Rench Valley into the Black Forest.
The Rench enters the town area in the southeast coming from the Black Forest, then flows in a northwesterly direction through the core town (the old town is on the right bank), then the Stadelhofen district and then leaves the town area again in the northwest towards the Rhine.

The urban area of Oberkirch is divided into the core town and the districts of Bottenau, Butschbach, Haslach, Nußbach, Ödsbach, Ringelbach, Stadelhofen, Tiergarten and Zusenhofen, which were incorporated as part of the municipal reform in the 1970s.

One of Oberkirch's landmarks is the Schauenburg ruins, which date back to the 11th century and stand 200 metres above the town.

Oberkirch's agriculture is characterised by viticulture and fruit growing.

In viticulture, the cooperative winegrowers' cooperative in the village is formative. Most of the vineyards are cultivated by members of the Oberkirch winegrowers' cooperative. Pinot Noir and Riesling wines (also called "Klingelberger" in the region) are the most common types of wine.
