This beautiful, traditional holiday home/farmhouse on a disused farm has a great view of the fjord and sunset in the evenings. Built in the late 19th century, the holiday home was last modernized in 2013. It can accommodate 6 people. The house has 3 bedrooms, bathroom with underfloor heating and a terrace. Cable TV and internet available. The holiday home is located on Bysheim, on the inland island of Osterøy, and is over 100 years old. With its deep fjords, mountains, and valleys, Osterøy has been described as a "Norway in miniature". The holiday home offers a quiet and peaceful location with only a short way to Bergen and everything a big city can offer. Day trips to Voss, Hardanger, and Flåm from Bergen. Great opportunities for mountain hikes on Osterøy, and if you are interested in culture, you can visit Ole Bull's holiday home on Valestrand, Osterøy Museum, and the medieval church in Hamre. Loneelva is located about 4 km from the holiday home, with salmon up to 2 kg and sea trout up to 1 kg.

Spacious, practically and comfortably furnished house with a great view. Very good starting point for exploring the area. Everything very clean and tidy. We felt right at home. Recommendations: Use yr. no for weather forecasts and enter Bysheim kai there. Use ut. no for hikes. We enjoyed: Åsheimveten - great view, varied circular path, Kossdalen - a must in the area, circular path Raknes over Tirevoll, Tirevollsfjellet - diverse nature, great view also towards Bysheim.

Wonderful location above the fjord, peace, very well-equipped kitchen. Nothing was missing. Recommendations: hikes to the various mountains of Osteroy, for example Bruviknipa, Hananipa, Eikelandsfjell, etc., island Fedje, church Hamre, Bergen, etc.

The house is in good condition and is equipped with all the essentials. The house is quietly located away from the main road. The property has a slight slope and an additional terrace with a view of the lake. Access to the lake is somewhat restricted. The owners live about 100m in the next house. There were no problems at all during arrival and departure. Recommendations: In the house, there is a folder with suggestions for excursions, and in the guestbook, one can also find out what other guests have done. Very helpful.
