Description

The three bedrooms are located on the upper floor (double bed 160x190; double bed 180x200 also as single beds; single bed 90x200). The two independent "wings" each have their own small washroom ("salle d'eau", each with a sink with hot and cold water and a toilet). By the way, the staircase to the upper floor is quite narrow and steep (see photo) and could be a problem for small children or people who are no longer very fit.

In an absolutely quiet location, this jewel of a house is part of a small village that belongs to the municipality of Dragey-Ronthon, which is situated in the bay of the monastery mountain Mont Saint Michel. The nearest "wild" sandy beach is only 3 km away, and a supervised bathing beach can be reached at a distance of 10 km.
The nearest larger town is the wonderful coastal city of Granville, built on rocks. Here, among other things,

Great house

We were totally satisfied with the holiday home, the location to the sea. About 2 km away is optimal. The cleanliness of the house is great, it is clean down to the very last crack of the house. In this respect, everything was perfect for us for a nice Normandy holiday in close proximity to the sea.

Dream holiday home with super garden

We were 4 adults (2 couples) and a dog. The house was very clean, excellently equipped, the large and pretty garden surrounded by a really safe and sufficiently high fence, so that you could let the dog run around outside without worry! The landlords were super nice and accommodating! The surroundings are dreamily beautiful, quiet, rural idyll, beautiful sandy beaches nearby with a view of Mt. St. Michel! The stairs to the 1st. The floor up is more of a staircase; I always went down it backwards just to be safe, which was not a problem but rather funny. The house is old and thus, as is usual with wooden floorboards, a bit noisy for sensitive ears (earplugs at night were helpful). We would go back there immediately and can highly recommend it; we spent beautiful days there! Thank you, Cècile!!!

Place of peace and relaxation

We stayed in the house from June 1st to 15th, 24 and felt comfortable right away. We can only agree with the previous reviews. Everything was as described. In addition, it was tip-top clean, cozy and yet practical. We recommend it without reservation. The booking through Mrs. Hendricks went smoothly and very friendly, and the hosts are extremely nice and helpful. The area offers a lot for culture enthusiasts. For hikers, for example, the Vallee de Lude is recommended. Also perfect for holidaymakers with dogs.

highly recommended

We stayed in this lovingly renovated holiday home for 3 weeks and felt very comfortable. Everything is as described and everything you need for your daily needs is available. We often used the large garden to play badminton. We had some problems with our plans and even forgot to take our bicycle pump with us when we left. Despite all the confusion, the landlords were calm, understanding and helpful. We would have liked to stay longer, we enjoyed it very much and had a good rest, thank you again.

absolutely super

The house is really great, everything is new, lovingly furnished and offers a great atmosphere. The property is huge and has a paradisiacal charm. Our dogs also loved it.
We also enjoyed using the terrace every day. The quiet surroundings, proximity to the beach and the fabulously beautiful nature (dunes, beach, Normandy itself) have made us real France fans
The landlord couple is super friendly, everything was totally relaxed and uncomplicated. Conclusion: really recommendable

Beautiful Normandy and a special house.

Even before our vacation, we found the booking with Normandie Spezial and Mrs. Petig very pleasant. We received all important information in time before the start of the trip, and Mrs. Petig answered all follow-up questions quickly and in detail.
On site, we were greeted very nicely by the two landlords Cecile and Daniel. Water for the dogs was already prepared and the sun loungers were invitingly placed in the sun. The landlords are very likeable and helpful, and they also checked during our vacation if everything was okay.
The house is comfortable and cozy. Beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped and functional. The large garden is securely fenced and the two seating areas have nice spots. There is a charcoal grill, bicycles, Wi-Fi, and German TV programs. Hairdryer, washing machine, iron, as well as important things in the kitchen and bathroom for the first few days are available. There is plenty of information material about the surroundings, and we also received valuable tips for activities and particularly beautiful beaches from the landlords. There are many beautiful beaches and good shopping opportunities in the vicinity. The house is conveniently located for a variety of activities, and the many small towns in the area are really worth seeing. We also really liked the many spots from which you have an impressive view over the entire bay, as well as the beautiful landscape. We can absolutely recommend this house and plan to go there again.

A bijou!

A wonderfully lovingly renovated house, beautifully decorated in a maritime style. The landlords were very helpful and uncomplicated. The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, kettle, coffee machines (filter and capsule), toaster, microwave..... and an outdoor charcoal grill. The large garden is perfect for outdoor games. The house is very quiet, the nights are absolutely still. We had bicycles with us, but there are also some available in the house. In ten minutes you can reach the wonderfully deserted beach with a view of Mont Saint Michel. By car, you can visit many interesting buildings and cities, two weeks were by no means enough to explore this great area.
