Location and surroundings of object

The color “Faluröd” of our villa in Tuna Hästberg is just as typical for Sweden as the small mountain village with its centuries-old mining tradition.

Surrounded by forests and countless lakes, you can experience and enjoy the Swedish holiday feeling here.

In the nature reserves Smörtjärnarna and Gyllbergen, which are within walking distance, there are barbecue areas and shelters available – a paradise for hikers. Very good fishing opportunities in the numerous lakes. Mushroom- and berry-rich surroundings right behind the house.

The adventure mine "Äventyrsgruvan" is within a 10-minute walk. It offers exploration tours of varying difficulty levels. New is the adventure sauna at a depth of 80 m. (aventyrsgruvan.se)
In winter, good opportunities for cross-country skiing (can start right outside the front door). Alpine skiing in Romme-Alpin, with 34 slopes of all difficulty levels and 14 lifts, can be reached by car in just under 20 minutes.

Free cancellation possible up to 71 days before the arrival date.

Here is the translation to English:
• From 70 days to 43 days (10 - 6 weeks) before the start of the rental period: 10% of the agreed rental price, but no more than €100.
• From 42 days to 22 days (6 - 3 weeks) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the agreed rental price.
• From 21 days (3 weeks) before the start of the rental period: 80% of the agreed rental price.
• If the rental object is not used without a declaration of withdrawal, the agreed rental price must be paid.
• If we are able to re-rent the period that becomes available due to a contract withdrawal, no withdrawal fees will be charged!

Wonderful Winter Vacation

We were allowed to experience a Christmas and New Year like out of a picture book. Evenings by the fireplace in a cozy house, a beautiful landscape, and very interesting excursion destinations made the time pass far too quickly. Thank you for the stay in the villa!

Pure relaxation!!

Wonderful house in a fantastic natural setting! The 4 of us (grandma was also there) hiking enthusiasts spent a relaxing and eventful time here. Our recommendation: the old Engelsberg mine (40 minutes by car) and the nearby historic oil refinery must be visited. Thanks to the Majcher family for renting the house at such short notice. We will be happy to come back next year - there is still so much to discover.

Pure idyll!

We (two adults, an almost grown-up daughter and two big dogs) spent a wonderful holiday in the red and white holiday home of the Majcher family in Dalarna. From the cute house and its quiet location with a view of the beautiful lake, to the beautiful nature with deep forests and many other lakes, the abundance of wildlife (we were able to watch moose almost every evening), the seclusion and the various excursion options (e.g. to Falun and Lake Siljan), everything was just right for us. Hiking and canoeing in the nature reserve are other options, as are berry and mushroom picking. In short: For nature-loving people who appreciate the tranquillity and beauty of Nordic nature, a holiday in the holiday home, which is equipped with everything necessary, can only be recommended. We, for one, will gladly come back!

A picture book holiday in Sweden

We stayed in this house for 2 weeks and can only recommend it to everyone. The house is very lovingly furnished and the location is very quiet. Everything looks exactly as it does in the pictures. We could hardly believe it.
The lake on site is super, clean and always invites you to take a dive.

If you want to see a moose, you'll get your money's worth here, just drive a bit through the nature reserve.

The region offers some great sights and a lot of culture. Especially when it comes to mining and smelting.

I had spent a week right next to it.

Unfortunately, the owner doesn't care about maintaining the property, and the poor people who come there have to walk through knee-high grass! He also didn't fence his property, even though he rents the house to people with dogs, and the neighbors just have to deal with it! All of this is not very satisfying for the guests of the neighboring houses and for the people living there!

Es handelt sich bei dem Kommentator um den Mieter Ludger B. aus Hamm der schon direkt nach Ankunft mit fadenscheinigen Argumenten einen hohen Nachlass auf den Mietpreis herausschlagen wollte. Da er sich zudem auch noch nasse Hosenbeine einhandelte bewegte es ihn nun zu einer Forderung nach Mietreduzierung in Höhe einer halben Wochnmiete. Das dem Mieter entgegengebrachte Vertrauen im Umgang mit dem Mietobjekt wurde enttäuscht, es wurden widerrechtlich Privaträume des Vermieters geöffnet und private Gegenstände widerrechtlich benutzt. Diese widerrechtliche Benutzung wurde dann auch noch vom Mieter in Rechnung gestellt (ein Schelm wer Böses dabei denkt...).
Dass das ausnahmsweise geduldete Mitbringen des Hundes dann dazu führt, dass das Einzäunen des Grundstücks gefordert wird - dazu mag sich der Leser selbst seine Meinung bilden. Die in Schweden geltende Regel, das Hunde grundsätzlich an der Leine zu führen sind wurde offensichtlich nicht beachtet.
Solche Mieter mag man keinem Vermieter wünschen!

Finally peace...

We were looking for a place where we could forget about the daily working world - and here we found it. There is no television here - finally we had enough time for our wishes...
Completely rested after 10 days on and by the lake, Stockholm was a lot of fun! Thank you for the wonderful days at the Hahnenhaus!!

Family vacation like in the "Lagerlöff-Film"

Just as exciting and varied for us adults as it was for the two children (9 and 12 years old). 3 weeks are simply too short to experience all the attractions in the area. The island world of the lake was an adventure playground for our children!

shopping facilities: Hier muss man schon in die nahen Städte fahren. Borlänges Einkaufszentrum Kupolen bietet nahezu alles gewünschte!
