The holiday home in Hemmet was a reasonable choice for our stay. Although it was not the most luxurious accommodation, it was practical and had all the basic needs we required. The free WiFi was a nice bonus, allowing us to stay connected. The proximity to Nørre Bork Plantage was great for exploring nature. Although we had some minor issues with the heating, the host was responsive and ensured we felt comfortable. Overall, a simple stay.

Recommendations: The holiday home is quite cozy for 2 people. We booked for 2 adults and 2 children (2 & 6 years) to extend our vacation by a few days. However, it must be said that the windows are not childproof. The locking and opening mechanism could be easily opened by our youngest child, so we had to place a suitcase in front of the window to prevent our child from disappearing unnoticed. Furthermore, the house unfortunately offers little storage space. Thus, a stay of more than a few days is hardly possible, as there is also unfortunately no washing machine available. It is worth mentioning positively that the house is equipped with air conditioning, which is absolutely necessary at temperatures around 30°C, as the small house heats up very quickly. The garden is nice and suitable for the little house; unfortunately, the front area can only be temporarily enclosed with a small chicken fence. Unfortunately, it must be said here that it is not suitable for small children, as there is also an increased risk of escape.

Recommendations: If you drink coffee in the morning, you have to bring a machine or get powder. Laundry for the entire vacation must be brought along since there is no washing machine.
