Trips at the wildlife park Lueneburg Heath, Heide Park Soltau, nature reserve Lueneburg Heath, in the Hanseatic cities of Hamburg and Lueneburg and many archaeological and historical sites in the area.
In Salzhausen there is a heated outdoor pool, an equestrian center Luhmühlen lies at the door.

By car you can reach us from the A7 motorway from the north (Hamburg to Hannover): Exit Garlstorf towards Salzhausen.
A7 motorway from the south (Hanover Hamburg): exit Egestorf towards Salzhausen.
In the center Salzhausen see the driveway to Kockenhof (main road 12) directly opposite the church.
It is also a regular bus service to the train stations and Lüneburg Winsen (Luhe), more detailed information on getting there by bus or train gives you the timetable of the HVV.

Arrive and feel good
We booked this house for a small family reunion and were completely satisfied. Very spacious rooms, good beds, individual furnishings, great places in the garden to relax, (we loved the breakfast surrounded by flowers). Very nice landlady, rebookings in advance worked out without any problems. We can unreservedly recommend this address and if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will of course be happy to stay here again.

A tasteful and comfortable home from home
This is a spacious home , well decorated with a lot of art. The gardens are extensive. The house is well equipped with comfortable beds and bedding and it has a spacious and well equipped kitchen( though we could have used a microwave at times had there been one!), plenty of room for quiet moments alone and there is ample and safe car parking facilities .The owner is charming and not intrusive. A great value for money stay and we are likely to return and will also recommend to friends.

Very cozy house
We, 6+2 dogs, had wonderful days, the area is great for hiking and cycling, we could easily go on trips to Lüneburg and Hamburg due to the short distance. The house is beautiful, very spacious. Cozy evenings by the fireplace let the evenings end...

Recommended holiday home
We spent lovely days in the holiday home. It is in the middle of the village, but quiet. Salzhausen is centrally located for trips to the Heide, Lüneburg, Hamburg and the Wendland. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is spacious.
