Overall, it was a nice location, but there were quite a few issues. The pizza oven was not clean, the barbecue was not clean, there were cobwebs in the restrooms, outlets and light switches were unfinished or missing covers, one coffee machine did not work (which was not a problem since there were enough machines), one room could not be locked, one electric heater in the room did not work, cold water at the sink in the room (the shower was warm), musty smell in the living room, broken glass in the door, dishwasher that did not always clean properly. In short, the whole building could use a check-up and a refresh.

Such a beautiful and lovely house, we were there as a big family and everyone loved it. Clean, cozy, comfortable and I could easily communicate with Thomas the house owner easily and he helped with any questions we had. We have enjoyed our family reunion very much in Chateau de Ferot. The rooms are beautiful and entertainment is fantastic, with tennis court, hottub, pizza oven, pool table and wonderful outdoor walks.

The heating did not work, and I spent at least 4 hours trying to fix it. I solved it myself because I am a plumber, as the owner certainly did not come. The dishwasher in the kitchen was left dirty and did not work. I used the other dishwasher in the storage room, where there were also no washing tablets available. We paid €120 for firewood, of which more than half was not used. I requested a portion of my money back, but there was not even a response. The price-quality ratio is certainly not good. Don't forget to bring your own hand soap because they don't even have that. I was there for 1 and 1/2 days, of which I spent 1/2 day trying to solve problems. The people after me will have laundry tablets, laundry soap, and hand soap because I left them for those people behind.

The castle has a beautiful garden and a large terrace with a barbecue and hot tub. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and in good order. Due to the wooden plank floor and the authentic doors, the castle is a bit noisy, but on the other hand, that's part of it. I occasionally read something about squeaky pipes, but we didn't notice anything. The only consideration we could make is that a small electrical maintenance (replacing broken lamps and outlets) would be welcome - but everything else is perfect!

This large house is located in a beautiful location. Beautiful free garden adjacent to the terrace. Kitchen and living room are nice and spacious and well suited for a larger group. They did not use smaller spaces. Rooms are fine, clean and have a good bed. Bathrooms are quite simple and note that not all are connected to the rooms. Upon entering, we immediately learned that 1 dishwasher did not work. This is of course not possible with a large group. We also discovered that 1 bathroom did not work because there was a paper hanging there that it could not be used. These defects were therefore already known to the owner. The house is also not clean and messy with many broken items (cupboard window out, dangerous and lamps broken). Garden furniture is broken and dirty. All in all, the house does not make a well-kept impression. Considering the price we paid, we do not think this is in proportion to the quality of the house. Very friendly contact with the owner in advance, no one was seen on site. Unfortunately, we will not return to this location.

We organized a memorable tennis tournament, the children spent hours trying their luck at fishing (even without success, it amused them), and the large park and its stream gave charm to all our outings (even in the rain)! The common areas are simple and functional, perfectly suited to accommodate a large group. As for the rooms, they are all tastefully decorated and the bedding is very comfortable. The facilities are also complete, which made our stay even more enjoyable. In short, an ideal place to disconnect and enjoy, we would have stayed longer.

We were on a company outing with 27 adults. It is very cramped for sleeping, the beds that are there are very good but the extra beds were not made and not very comfortable. Other facilities are all in good order and sufficient for so many people. The chateau is very beautiful and spacious, we had a very good time. However, the hygiene was not very good, it was very moderately cleaned, the floor was sticky, 1 dishwasher has mold in it and is broken, the oven does not work properly and is half broken. The hot tub was also not very clean. Furthermore, there were no means to make it a bit cleaner (dishwasher tablets, broom, cloths, extra garbage bags, etc.). So you better bring that yourself. The contact and reservation was good, Thomas was easy to reach and checking in and out was very easy. The surroundings are beautiful! All in all, we had a very pleasant stay. But with a little more attention to cleaning, the chateau would be really great.

The accommodation suffers from the fact that the care and maintenance by an agency is not thorough enough. Unfortunately, the kitchen was not cleaned well when we arrived, the ashes of the previous tenants and dirt were in the fireplaces, the pizza oven and the plancha. Several drains in the bathrooms did not work. Hot water for showering was a matter of luck. A lot of money was invested here and some thought was put into it, but the annual maintenance is lacking. What a pity!

The fish pond and wooded area are a nice addition to this. The house has been renovated and the bedrooms are very neat with beds that certainly cannot be complained about. The village is small, but has a supermarket where you can get all the necessary things. It is also less than half an hour to Spa and the location is also easily accessible from the Netherlands. All in all, definitely recommended!

Yet you are quickly at a supermarket and at the highway, which makes it easily accessible. The Chateau is modernly furnished and equipped with all facilities. There are many spacious double rooms, most of them with a private bathroom. The kitchen is gigantic and very practical. You have enough space to store everything. The chateau is also equipped with a cozy bar, a billiard table, a football table, a hot tub, a pizza oven, a barbeque (ofyr type) and a tennis court. The domain is beautiful and the host Thomas and his team welcome you in a great way. You will receive a clear brochure with all the information you need for a smooth stay. We spent an unforgettable long weekend in this magnificent castle, ideal for a stay with friends and family. The outdoor areas are truly beautiful, offering a multitude of activities for all ages. We organized a memorable tennis tournament, the children spent hours trying their luck at fishing (even without success, it was great fun for them), and the large park and its stream added charm to all our outings (even in the rain)! The common areas are simple and functional, perfectly suited to accommodate a large group. As for the rooms, they are all tastefully decorated and the bedding is very comfortable. The amenities are also complete, which made our stay even more enjoyable. In short, an ideal place to disconnect and enjoy; we would have liked to stay longer.

We were on a company outing with 27 adults. It is very cramped for sleeping, the beds that are there are very good but the extra beds were not made and not very comfortable. Beautiful place for a family and friends vacation. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated, kitchen is large enough for big groups, nice espresso machines and a large terrace. Communication was very smooth.

The accommodation suffers from the fact that the care and maintenance by an agency is not thorough enough. Unfortunately, the kitchen was not cleaned well when we arrived, the ashes of the previous tenants and dirt were in the fireplaces, the pizza oven and the plancha. Several drains in the bathrooms did not work. Hot water for showering was a matter of luck. A lot of money was invested here and some thought was put into it, but the annual maintenance is lacking. What a pity!

We had a fantastic stay with our group of colleagues. A beautiful house, really spacious with fantastic facilities. We played tennis, enjoyed the hot tub, billiards and table football. Something for everyone.... the house is neat and clean The rooms are very spacious, indeed the pipes squeak, but then you just have to shower a little shorter. It is a beautiful old house and then you get that a little faster. We really want to recommend this accommodation and I think we will come back again with a family group will return. There is a nice supermarket nearby and lots to do. Contact was also very nice!

A large holiday home in a very beautiful area! With 23 adults, some facilities, such as the dining table, were just a bit too tight. In addition, an extra freezer would certainly not have been an unnecessary luxury with the beautiful weather. However, the garden with jacuzzi and private tennis court make up for it a great deal! The fish pond and wooded area are a nice addition to this. The house has been renovated and the bedrooms are very neat with beds that certainly cannot be complained about. The village is small, but has a supermarket where you can get all the necessary things. It is also less than half an hour to Spa and the location is also easily accessible from the Netherlands. All in all, definitely recommended!

Great chateau! Beautiful spacious bedrooms. Estate around it in large. Lots of privacy, great for fishing, playing tennis. The river around the estate is wonderful for cooling off and entertaining children. Everything has been thought of in the chateau, even the hot tub, pizza oven and BBQ were often used by us. Great if you want to enjoy the outdoors a lot. We will definitely come back!

It was beyond expectations. Had a fantastic time. Everything was neatly arranged. Very much enjoyed the hot tub and bbq/pizza oven. Beautiful garden where our children played! We enjoyed the Chateau immensely. The area is quiet and you don't have close neighbors, which is nice for a group so you don't disturb anyone. A very nice walk starts at the Chateau. Yet you are quickly at a supermarket and at the highway, which makes it easily accessible. The Chateau is modernly furnished and equipped with all facilities. There are many spacious double rooms, most of them with a private bathroom. The kitchen is gigantic and very practical. You have enough space to store everything. The chateau is also equipped with a cozy bar, a billiard table, a football table, a hot tub, a pizza oven, a barbeque (ofyr type) and a tennis court. The domain is beautiful and the host Thomas and his team welcome you in a great way. You will receive a clear brochure with all the information you need for a smooth stay. We can recommend it to everyone.
