We are looking for heritage enthusiasts
You have to like crooked walls, low doors and old beams. If you also appreciate detailed furnishings and still want to spend your holiday in an ecologically and progressively renovated monument, you are exactly the guest we are looking for!
Our listed Jura house was renovated by us with a lot of personal effort between 2011 and 2019. The result is a small and very cosy gem with delightful rooms that offer a unique ambience with their historic furnishings. The small monument has a cosy living room, a separate kitchen with breakfast nook and a bathroom with bathtub. Three bedrooms with a total of four beds, as well as a large living area upstairs offer enough space for up to six people on a total of 120 sqm.

Location and surroundings of object
The Jura village of Hofstetten is located off the main traffic routes in the quiet yet varied landscape of the Altmühltal Nature Park, about 12 km east of Eichstätt and 17 km northwest of Ingolstadt. The village with about 1,100 inhabitants is enclosed in a horseshoe shape by the Pfünzer and Hofstetter forests.
The listed small farmhouse with the house name "Bengel" is centrally located in the village and yet out of the way. Situated in the second row, the large garden already borders on a meadow/horse paddock in the south.

additional information:
In the former vicarage from 1616 (Schloßstraße 1) is a village shop with a bakery and a butcher's shop for basic supplies. It is only open in the mornings. You can find the exact opening hours on the door or in the window. In the side street opposite there is a beverage market (Getränkemarkt Glosser), which is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 15:00-18:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00-12:00. You can also go to the Landgasthof Buchberger for a meal (closed on Mondays).

Dear holiday guests, we are pleased that you would like to spend your holiday in Bengel. Our holiday home is a listed Jura house and was renovated and extended by us between 2011 and 2019 with a great deal of personal effort and also at great financial expense. For Corona reasons, it will not be possible to rent it out until mid-2021. We have lovingly furnished the Bengel for you, so that you will hopefully feel at home and possibly come again.
