The glass house (masonry house inside a greenhouse) is surrounded by an herb/flower garden with seating/lying area, a swimming pool, a meadow orchard with adjacent forest (200 m away). From the high-quality Bulthaup brand kitchen you enter the open living and dining area and through the conservatories into the flower and herb garden. Two double bedrooms are made of solid wood, crafted by a carpenter. 2 showers with WC (marble, granite) are available, with one shower with WC separated from the bedroom (1st floor) by a folding screen. You will discover creativity and inspiration in the numerous pictures by well-known artists. An open staircase leads you to the gallery, which offers you a magnificent panoramic view of the varied Franconian landscape. The glass house (132 m²) with its spacious, comfortable furnishings allows you an unforgettable living experience in the midst of nature. The automatically opening roof creates a pleasant indoor climate with constant fresh air supply. Throughout the seasons with changing light conditions, you will enjoy the blooming of exotic plants. The glass house has also been featured in the magazines "Schöner wohnen" 10/2004, "Zeit" 06/2006, and "zuhause wohnen" 5/2015.

The extraordinary glass house is set on a 3500 m² property, surrounded by a wonderfully fragrant herb garden with sunbathing area, orchard meadow and forest, on the edge of the village in a quiet location.

Kirchlauter - Pettstadt is located in the Haßberge Nature Park (Lower Franconia - Bavaria) with romantic half-timbered towns (Königsberg, Zeil, Ebern, Unfinden, Scheßlitz), stately castles (Kirchlauter, Eyrichshof, Rentweinsdorf) and legendary castle ruins (Bramburg, Raueneck, Altenstein, Lichtenstein, Rotenhan) in the German Castle Corner.

Great break in a beautiful holiday home
The holiday home is located idyllically and absolutely quietly in a beautiful, lovingly designed garden. The furnishings are very high quality and extensive. You have everything you need. The beds/mattresses are great (I have chronic back problems). A wonderful place to find peace and recharge.

Beautiful
A high-quality equipped house,
stylishly and lovingly furnished,
very friendly landlords and neighbors.
Cycling and hiking trails with many elevation meters or a small round start right at the front door.
Art and culture, silence and stars, picturesque places and magnificent castles, cities and good Franconian cuisine right next door = very relaxing and delicious.
Pilgrimage or meditation, unwinding and switching off, this is the best place for it.
This house is worth every euro!

A beautiful extraordinary holiday home
We had a wonderful quiet week just the two of us in this extraordinary holiday home.
Everything you need is there. We both occupied the bedrooms. That was no problem.
Beautiful dishes for a nicely set table.
The garden is dreamy. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy it, as the weather didn't cooperate. Around the corner, there is a very good restaurant for dining. Don't forget to make a reservation.
We felt very comfortable.

Stylish holiday home with huge garden
We had a wonderful week in the Glass House in Pettstadt. The house, which is probably unique in this way, is the ideal place for four adults as well as small children. The garden is fantastic, well-kept and incredibly spacious. The high-quality furnishings leave absolutely nothing to be desired.

Die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig und umfänglich. Man hat alles was man braucht.
Die Betten/Matrazen sind super ( habe chronische Rückenprobleme ).
Zum Ruhe finden und Kraft tanken ein toller Ort.
stil- und liebevoll eingerichtet,
sehr freundliche Vermieter und Nachbarn.
Rad- und Wanderwege mit vielen Höhenmetern oder eine kleine Runde beginnen vor der Haustür.
Kunst und Kultur, Stille und Sterne, pittoreske Orte und prächtige Schlösser, Städte und gute fränkische Küche gleich nebenan = sehr erholsam und lecker.
Pilgern oder meditieren, runterkommen und abschalten, hier ist der bester Platz dafür.
Dieses Haus ist jeden Euro wert!
Es ist alles da was man braucht. Wir hatten beide Schlafzimmer belegt. Das war kein Problem.
Schönes Geschirr für einen schön gedecktes Tisch.
Der Garten ist traumhaft. Wir konnten ihn leider nicht genießen , da leider das Wetter nicht mitspielte. Um die Ecke ein sehr gutes Restaurant zum Speisen. Reservieren nicht vergessen.
Wir hatten uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
