Although it took some searching, this has a positive effect. The house is very quiet, so children playing and calling do not easily cause a nuisance to the area. The house is beautiful and the pool invites you to take a dip!

This villa is absolutely fantastic. Very big, very clean, large kitchen and everything works. Towels, blankets, baby beds, wifi and anything you might need is there and it "s nicely decorated so you" ll feel right at home. The big terrace and playground was perfect for our 14 month old daughter. This place is perfect for groups and families but still cozy enough for a couple. Did I mention the swimming pool and jacuzzi? The house is situated on the edge of a small hill on Artignosc with a 360 degree view of the surrounding hills and forests. The village is small and very quite and within a minute you "ll find yourself walking through nature. Artignosc itself is small, rustic, near a small lake and gorge and within half an hour drive from other villages very nice with lots of historical remnants from Roman times (fountains, townsquares, towers etc). Within 45 minutes you "ll find yourself and the famous Gorges du Verdon, or as some say the French Grand Canyon (it is really the 2nd biggest canyon in the world!) From Artignosc it "sa 1.5 hour drive to St. Maxime on the Cote d 'Azur and I suggest you do that and add a day of beach fun to your peaceful stay. Great holiday home, situated on a mountain about 1km. from small picturesque village sleeping Artignosc sur Verdon. The skin is actually much bigger and more luxurious than the photos and description appear. Inventory is ample and of good quality available. Other is all good quality. The location is wonderful. Looking out from your sunbed by the pool on the mountains of the Gorges du Verdon in the distant background. Very quiet and secluded something, no traffic noise, etc. For dog owners a perfect location / environment. There is plenty of cool water (pool and lake (approx. 15min. Walk)) and shade available. The grounds are well and fully fenced with a 1.5 meter high fence. Lots of privacy. At about 8km away is the first supermarket. Also a pretty diverse environment where you can easily by car to many attractions are. We had a top holiday and will definitely be back!
