Private holiday home on the outskirts of the village above the olive groves, the apartment is regularly renovated and very well equipped. With balcony AND small terrace, new fitted kitchen, freshly upholstered sofa corner. Sunny and shady outdoor areas (the owners' huge private terrace with wine arbour may be shared. The flat is air-conditioned and equipped with insect screens and sun protection. The equipment leaves hardly anything to be desired, from a safe to a hairdryer, from music CDs to holiday reading material, everything is available. A detailed description of the flat can be provided by e-mail, so that you know what you do NOT have to pack. It is a semi-detached house, our neighbour lives there permanently, so you have a German-speaking contact person in case of emergency. The landlords are always available even when you are away. The house beach with charming taverna is within walking distance. Also the authentic taverna Katerina, a German-speaking institution in the village.

Our house is located in Ferma, a small and still very authentic Cretan village with a few small tavernas and a "house beach" just across the road accessible by stairs. There is a supermarket open every day. In front the sea and behind the Cretan mountains and olive groves as far as you can see. In the neighbouring village of Koutsounari, where there is a bit more tourism, is the long beach, a 3 km long beautiful stretch of beach that offers everything: busy tavernas with free beach loungers, less busy beautiful stretches of beach where it is not even crowded in the high season. You can choose whether you want to spend time on the beach in company or all alone. The small town of Ierapetra , the southernmost town in Europe, with bars and shopping facilities invites you to stroll and is only 10 km away. Ferma is an ideal starting point for excursions across the island. Breathtaking landscapes with equally breathtaking panoramic views and well-kept roads.

it was a beautiful week
The holiday apartment is located in the quiet Ferma. The way to the beach takes about 10 minutes downhill (a bit longer uphill coming back from the beach). You definitely need a car. Recommended for people who want a relaxed, quiet holiday.

Refuge after the excursions in the nearby and further surroundings
My son and I just came back from East Crete, full of impressions and unforgettable experiences, such as the Cha Gorge in Monastiraki, the 3250-year-old olive tree in Kavousi, and the beach of Xerokampus....: Every day it was a highlight to come back home to Villa Rosa, which is located slightly elevated on a hill and was an oasis with 2 balconies and large windows facing the sea, a place of well-being of the highest class. The apartment is stylish, simple, and practical furnished. It is extremely pleasant to spend a day there or hike up to the waterfall.... The location is totally quiet, the nights were full of stars! Dreamlike
Our vacation in this beautiful accommodation was truly fantastic. The view of the sea or the mountains behind it is indescribably beautiful. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is also tastefully furnished and everything worked fine.
Since the house is located quite high up, having a private vehicle is definitely an advantage. But it's also great for exploring the beautiful island.
The contact on site with the (German) manager of the apartment was uncomplicated and everything was taken care of immediately.
We felt completely comfortable and this dreamlike island has captivated us ?.
We will be happy to come back. Thank you for the fantastic vacation!!

Relaxed dream holiday
We booked this accommodation at short notice and without any problems. We really found everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We gladly took advantage of Mrs Hahn's advice regarding shopping, eating, beaches and excursions. We were very enthusiastic about the beautiful, quiet location and the seclusion from mass tourism, and we discovered many beautiful places that we had all to ourselves.
We can recommend the accommodation without reservation.
