Staying in this medieval castle was a dream! The apartment had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living room, We loved having breakfast on the terrace surrounded by the garden, Pure bliss!

We had a wonderful time at the castle grounds. The accommodation is well-equipped, and because there were hardly any activities on the grounds, we felt like true castle residents. The accommodation is a bit dark, but due to the nice weather, we could spend a lot of time outside and enjoy the beautiful garden. There are many medieval villages in the area.

Additionally, the location is great for exploring the Monferrato area. We took a day trip to the Barolo region and enjoyed some fantastic wine tastings. We appreciated the modern amenities in this historic setting. The espresso machine was a nice addition, and we enjoyed our morning coffee while looking at the beautiful garden.

We arrived at the castle about 2350 after having rental car problems at the airport. The castle was very cold and the instructions to turn the heat on did not work. Someone came the next day to turn the heat on. My sofa bed was not made up even though we were clearly 3 people and needed three beds. The mattresses were very lumpy and the linens smelled stale because they were in a chest. When I told the host about this her response was: "Sometimes situations don't work out the way we want them to!" followed by an apology. I have a house that I rent out too and I make every effort to make travelers comfortable. We were so tired when we arrived and she did not prepare for our arrival.

The apartment was spacious and well-furnished, making it feel like a home away from home. A fantastic place for a relaxing getaway!

A house in a castle is truly unique. We spent a week there alone while the castle owner was away. The entrance through the door and around the castle was impressive, especially the quiet April nights. In the morning, we were awakened by the cuckoo. The design of the apartment has its weaknesses; the large bedroom and the bathroom separate from the living room are upstairs. Going to the bathroom at night requires a bit of courage. Reassuring to know: there are no ghosts. The heating is a bit complicated, but in summer that shouldn't be a problem. Although we held back: 19° upstairs and 21° in the living room and kitchen, by the time we left we had about €80 in gas expenses. Still, we loved it, and we would return at any time! Great quiet location and a beautiful garden/park/forest, P,D, On our last morning we mourned the loss of a badger that died on one of the forest paths.

The hosts were friendly and gave great tips for our excursions. The only downside was the lack of a view from our apartment, but the charm of the castle more than made up for it!
