Chalet in Beffe with Hot Tub & Valley Views

A short weekend stay gave us amazing views from the hot tub spot. Inside, everything felt comfortable with heating that kept the place warm throughout.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

It was easy to get around on our own since parking was private and close by at the entrance. Little extras like an electric kettle made mornings go smoothly.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Arriving late after a long drive, we found the room ready and peaceful. Having two bathrooms made things easier for our group. The outdoor hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a full day of hiking.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

We appreciated each bedroom having its own bathroom. Downstairs had plenty of room where we could gather by the stove comfortably.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

This property sits on a delightful country lane that really adds to its calm and quiet vibe.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

What a lovely escape! The billiard room was a fun addition, and we had some great game nights, The garden furniture on the terrace was perfect for enjoying our meals outside, The view was simply breathtaking, especially in the early morning,

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

A nice place to unwind, The hot tub was a great feature, and the surrounding nature provided a peaceful atmosphere, The living/dining area was spacious enough for everyone to hang out comfortably,

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Super little house, but you have to drive on a very bumpy road of 1.5 km before getting there. Don't expect a super clean house. It does meet all comforts.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Internet connection was stable enough to spend several hours working from the living room area. The kitchen came equipped with all necessary items for cooking meals.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

The value exceeded what I expected considering the price. The bed offered restful sleep, bathrooms were satisfactory, and checking in took no time at all. It was nice to have both bath and shower options.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Staying in this chalet was a dream! The hot tub with a view over the Ourthe valley was the highlight of our trip. We spent every evening in the hot tub while watching the sunset. The spacious living room was perfect for our family gatherings, and the wood stove added a cozy atmosphere.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

The upstairs bedroom seemed just right for two people and we liked how the terrace elegantly surrounded the house outside.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Great location with amazing views! The garden area was beautiful, and we spent a lot of time outside. The living room was bright and inviting, making it a great place to come together after a day of exploring.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

A beautiful large house in a wonderfully quiet environment. There is no Wi-Fi, which one must like. Wood is sufficient for the hot tub and the fireplace, but one should bring fire starters. Our dogs also felt comfortable. The billiard table is great. Seat cushions for outside would be nice.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

We had a pleasant stay at this accommodation. The bedrooms were comfortable, and two bathrooms made it practical for our group. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed cooking together. The terrace was a nice place to relax in the morning.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Lovely house with a beautiful view. Yes, the road to it is bad but doable and it is only a few hundred meters. After that, it's downright fun! Well cleaned, good beds, lovely dark curtains in the bedrooms!

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

It is a nice and secluded location in the green with a beautiful view over the woods. The road to the cottage is indeed in bad condition, especially for a normal car. Jeep or SUV would not experience any problems here. The layout of the house is also not really practical because it is on the top floor that is the living room, dining area and balcony and so people stay most and the stairs to this floor are not really ideal, not even for dogs. It would also be better, for example, to have an outside staircase. On vacation, doing the dishes is less fun, so it would be great if you could install a dishwasher. A microwave would also be useful to warm up a bottle, for example. Now this was au bain-marie.Verder it is a nice house but it could also be just a little cleaner.Al in all had a nice leave.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

This place is perfect for a family outing, The layout is well thought out, with two bedrooms on the ground floor and a nice living area on the upper floor, The hot tub was an unexpected luxury that we all enjoyed,

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

We have sent Ardennes Online SRL the following message:
bottom sheet bed 1st floor had a dirty stain (footstep) 2 frying pans, 1 cooking pan, 2 plates not clean.
various kitchen utensils not in order. TV did not work, was repaired Thursday afternoon user manual was missing so we could not play CDs and/or receive Belgian channels. We received 2 -2 person sheet packages for 1 bed, we returned one. A reasonable compensation for the inconvenience would be appropriate. We have informed Ardennes online of this message to you.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Good morning,

Last year we stayed in the same accommodation, then it was much better ... Now the house was not clean, kitchen utensils were left behind dirty ...

Many things broken, such as the billiard cues and lid of the hot tub. Kind Regards Jessica.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

House was not clean. We pay 80, - cleaning costs but the house is downright filthy. The house stank and hadn't been aired for a long time. There is mold in the refrigerator, the cupboards are dirty, the cutlery and several dishes have food residue. The half-full beer bottles of our predecessors were still on the balcony. The house has a lot of potential, it's a shame that more attention is not paid to cleaning. Belvilla is of course unreachable and the intermediary in Belgium does not respond to the email address provided.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

The holiday home is great there is nothing to be desired and the area is quiet and dog friendly. Only when we had furnished the accommodation with the things we brought with us did we want to light the gas heaters. The booklet included specific information for the house and we tried to light the gas heaters using the manual. But it was not possible with both stoves, the promised wood that should be under the carport was not present and there was no lighter to be found, so take it with you! As a result, it was 4 degrees warm in the living room and 1 degree in the bedrooms. We looked at specific documents in the house and there was only a telephone number from the reception that you could call, but it was closed and no emergency number was included on the automatic answerer. The emergency number is therefore in the brochure, you just have to come up and read it again. The next day, wood was brought and the gas heaters were made in the 2nd afternoon part. In the intervening period I had already bought firewood from a farmer and had it delivered. Anyway, you pay 125 EUR cleaning costs, but the house was not clean and ready for use, we were unable to use the hot tub because the flue was blocked. All in all, we have encountered a number of defects and have reported this. Oh yes, and the deposit was increased from 250 to 500 EUR, which you can tap off in addition to the tourist tax, so this made a total of 575 EUR.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Nice chalet with a beautiful view. Only drawbacks, only 6 French posts on TV, difficult stairs for dogs that are not allowed / cannot do stairs, no dishwasher and microwave. The road to it is not for sporty cars I'm afraid 🤣! The hot tub that is present and the pool billiards are very cool. Beautiful spacious bedrooms.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

The location of the house is perfect if you want to find peace. We went with 2 people and 2 dogs and the location is also perfect for the dogs, if you walk out of the gate of the house you are directly in the forest. There is much to walk in the area and apart from the two very small nearby villages, there is only nature to be found. There is a supermarket about 15 minutes drive from the cottage. From the balcony there is a beautiful view of a valley containing one of the two nearby villages. Under the balcony is an excellent outdoor shower for the enthusiast. The road to the house is unpaved, but despite the fact that we came with a small car, it was still passable. The only drawback is that the stairs are very difficult to climb for the dogs. The steps are narrow and smooth and the space between the steps is open. If you are unable to lift your dog up and down stairs, it is difficult to use the upper floor. The BBQ and two of the four beds are upstairs, making it even more unfortunate that it is not well accessible for dogs. In general, the house is definitely recommended, we had a great time there for a week. But if I could give the owner one tip, it would be to have a new staircase installed.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Top location with beautiful views.
The path to it is a challenge!
Pool table is a plus, although the billiard cues need some love.
Disadvantage: steep and slippery stairs outside.
Fairly fully equipped and nicely renovated downstairs.
Some things are starting to show the ravages of time.
Definitely recommended.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

We had a fantastic weekend. Very nice, spacious house. Everything is there and neat. Very nice view. Our two dogs were able to roam freely. No bother from neighbors, they are far enough away. The road to the house is steep and bad. In short, it was very successful.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Still a bitter aftertaste.

Pros:
- Location and view
- Accommodation looks cozy.
- Hot tub (if you can get it warm)

Cons:
- Picking up the key is a 30-minute drive from the location.
- No bed linen and no towels/tea towels. We were not aware of this (it is probably somewhere in small print, but you just don't assume it) and only found out on location. Reception did not say a word about this and so we had to go back and forth (= 1 hour lost)
- Wood was not dry and MUCH too big/coarse. Heating the hot tub/stove was extremely challenging and constantly busy.
- Furnishings are dated (sofas sagging) and not clean. Everything greasy and dusty. Dog hair in many places. Not OK with 140 euros cleaning costs.
- You just have to do a lot while you want to go away for a weekend without thinking. Record meter readings at the beginning/end, take bed linen with you, make your own bed, wash dishes before you use things because they are dirty. Garbage, bed/bath linen and key return to reception.
- Still hidden costs if you ask me but Belvilla (bed linen, towels, gas/water/electricity, wood)

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

The location of the cottage was sublime. The reception was also okay. Furthermore, the house was really dirty! There were torn open garbage bags under the carport, dog pee in the house, hair and dust everywhere,… downright DIRTY!

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

This chalet has everything you need for a relaxing short vacation. The kettle and coffee machine were lifesavers for our morning routine. The parking options were sufficient, which made it easy for our group to come and go as we pleased.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Everything was great, only the cleaning could really be better. Washed everything off before use, so greasy. And the shower was actually just dirty. Furthermore, it warms up quickly in cold temperatures!

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

The chalet was fine, but the cues didn't have tips, so we couldn't play billiards. The road to the chalet is in poor condition. If it ices or snows, I wonder how you get there???

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Fantastic house, plenty of space and privacy on the property. There is a lot to do in the area, but it's also nice to relax in and around the house. The road leading to it is a bit of a challenge at first, but you get used to it later in the week.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

The house was fine for us, but you have to take into account extra costs. Belvilla is only an intermediary agency. The key to the house must be collected from another organization, Ardennen Online. Ardennen Online also charges extra costs for, for example, wood and waste separation. A deposit must also be paid, which was not known to Belvilla. A lot of ambiguity about 'extra' costs.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

The chalet is well-located and offers stunning views, The kitchen was functional, and we appreciated the fridge-freezer for storing our groceries, The hot tub was a fantastic way to end the day,

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Beautiful pleasant chalet with beautiful views.
The billiards room is a big plus.
Quick intervention from the friendly technician to solve a problem with the TV.
The disadvantage is the road there.
The stairs on the outside would best be equipped with an anti-slip layer.
Nice spacious rooms downstairs.
Cleanliness could be better.
We would definitely like to come back.

4,1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1 4.1

Beautiful but old chalet with a very large balcony with barbecue. It is not recommended for people with walking difficulties as the stairs to the top are not ideal. Bathrooms are large and well maintained. The view is great and it is very quiet. The road to the chalet is in very bad condition, unpaved with many potholes and stones. We sat here with our dog.

Overall a solid choice for a retreat, The terrace provided a great space to relax, and the wood stove in the living room kept us warm on cold nights, Plenty of space for everyone,

We had a fantastic weekend. Very nice, spacious house. Everything is there and neat. Very nice view. Our two dogs were able to roam freely. No bother from neighbors, they are far enough away. The road to the house is steep and bad. In short, it was very successful.

Beautiful, spacious chalet. Beautiful view of the village. Lots of stuff (fondue, gourmets, etc) to make your stay more pleasant. Cleaning is less

The location of the cottage was sublime. The reception was also okay. Furthermore, the house was really dirty! There were torn open garbage bags under the carport, dog pee in the house, hair and dust everywhere,… downright DIRTY!

Fantastic house, many spaces and privacy on the plot. Plenty to do in the area but also nice to stay in and around the house. The road to it is a thing at first, but later in the week you get used to it.

Everything was great, only the cleaning could really be better. Washed everything off before use, so greasy. And the shower was actually just dirty. Furthermore, it warms up quickly in cold temperatures!

Good morning,

Last year we stayed in the same accommodation, then it was much better ... Now the house was not clean, kitchen utensils were left behind dirty ...

Many things broken, such as the billiard cues and lid of the hot tub. Kind Regards Jessica.
