Everything was great, only the cleaning could really be better. Washed everything off before use, so greasy. And the shower was actually just dirty. Furthermore, it warms up quickly in cold temperatures!

The holiday home is great there is nothing to be desired and the area is quiet and dog friendly. Only when we had furnished the accommodation with the things we brought with us did we want to light the gas heaters. The booklet included specific information for the house and we tried to light the gas heaters using the manual. But it was not possible with both stoves, the promised wood that should be under the carport was not present and there was no lighter to be found, so take it with you! As a result, it was 4 degrees warm in the living room and 1 degree in the bedrooms. We looked at specific documents in the house and there was only a telephone number from the reception that you could call, but it was closed and no emergency number was included on the automatic answerer. The emergency number is therefore in the brochure, you just have to come up and read it again. The next day, wood was brought and the gas heaters were made in the 2nd afternoon part. In the intervening period I had already bought firewood from a farmer and had it delivered. Anyway, you pay 125 EUR cleaning costs, but the house was not clean and ready for use, we were unable to use the hot tub because the flue was blocked. All in all, we have encountered a number of defects and have reported this. Oh yes, and the deposit was increased from 250 to 500 EUR, which you can tap off in addition to the tourist tax, so this made a total of 575 EUR.

Ardennen Online also charges extra costs for, for example, wood and waste separation. A deposit must also be paid, which was not known to Belvilla. A lot of ambiguity about 'extra' costs.

Nice chalet with a beautiful view. Only drawbacks, only 6 French posts on TV, difficult stairs for dogs that are not allowed / cannot do stairs, no dishwasher and microwave. The road to it is not for sporty cars I'm afraid 🤣! The hot tub that is present and the pool billiards are very cool. Beautiful spacious bedrooms.

We had a fantastic weekend. Very nice, spacious house. Everything is there and neat. Very nice view. Our two dogs were able to roam freely. No bother from neighbors, they are far enough away. The road to the house is steep and bad. In short, it was very successful.

The location of the house is perfect if you want to find peace. We went with 2 people and 2 dogs and the location is also perfect for the dogs, if you walk out of the gate of the house you are directly in the forest. There is much to walk in the area and apart from the two very small nearby villages, there is only nature to be found. There is a supermarket about 15 minutes drive from the cottage. From the balcony there is a beautiful view of a valley containing one of the two nearby villages. Under the balcony is an excellent outdoor shower for the enthusiast. The road to the house is unpaved, but despite the fact that we came with a small car, it was still passable. The only drawback is that the stairs are very difficult to climb for the dogs. The steps are narrow and smooth and the space between the steps is open. If you are unable to lift your dog up and down stairs, it is difficult to use the upper floor. The BBQ and two of the four beds are upstairs, making it even more unfortunate that it is not well accessible for dogs. In general, the house is definitely recommended, we had a great time there for a week. But if I could give the owner one tip, it would be to have a new staircase installed.

There is mold in the refrigerator, the cupboards are dirty, the cutlery and several dishes have food residue. The half-full beer bottles of our predecessors were still on the balcony. The house has a lot of potential, it's a shame that more attention is not paid to cleaning. Belvilla is of course unreachable and the intermediary in Belgium does not respond to the email address provided.

It is a nice and secluded location in the green with a beautiful view over the woods. The road to the cottage is indeed in bad condition, especially for a normal car. Jeep or SUV would not experience any problems here. The layout of the house is also not really practical because it is on the top floor that is the living room, dining area and balcony and so people stay most and the stairs to this floor are not really ideal, not even for dogs. It would also be better, for example, to have an outside staircase. On vacation, doing the dishes is less fun, so it would be great if you could install a dishwasher. A microwave would also be useful to warm up a bottle, for example. Now this was au bain-marie.Verder it is a nice house but it could also be just a little cleaner.Al in all had a nice leave.

Beautiful but old chalet with a very large balcony with barbecue. It is not recommended for people with walking difficulties as the stairs to the top are not ideal. Bathrooms are large and well maintained. The view is great and it is very quiet. The road to the chalet is in very bad condition, unpaved with many potholes and stones. We sat here with our dog.

Fantastic house, many spaces and privacy on the plot. Plenty to do in the area but also nice to stay in and around the house. The road to it is a thing at first, but later in the week you get used to it.

Still a bitter aftertaste.

Pros:
- Location and view
- Accommodation looks cozy.
- Hot tub (if you can get it warm)

Cons:
- Picking up the key is a 30-minute drive from the location.
- No bed linen and no towels/tea towels. We were not aware of this (it is probably somewhere in small print, but you just don't assume it) and only found out on location. Reception did not say a word about this and so we had to go back and forth (= 1 hour lost)
- Wood was not dry and MUCH too big/coarse. Heating the hot tub/stove was extremely challenging and constantly busy.
- Furnishings are dated (sofas sagging) and not clean. Everything greasy and dusty. Dog hair in many places. Not OK with 140 euros cleaning costs.
- You just have to do a lot while you want to go away for a weekend without thinking. Record meter readings at the beginning/end, take bed linen with you, make your own bed, wash dishes before you use things because they are dirty. Garbage, bed/bath linen and key return to reception.
- Still hidden costs if you ask me but Belvilla (bed linen, towels, gas/water/electricity, wood)

The path to it is a challenge!
Pool table is a plus, although the billiard cues need some love.
Disadvantage: steep and slippery stairs outside.
Fairly fully equipped and nicely renovated downstairs.
Some things are starting to show the ravages of time.
Definitely recommended.

bottom sheet bed 1st floor had a dirty stain (footstep) 2 frying pans, 1 cooking pan, 2 plates not clean.
various kitchen utensils not in order. TV did not work, was repaired Thursday afternoon user manual was missing so we could not play CDs and/or receive Belgian channels. We received 2 -2 person sheet packages for 1 bed, we returned one. A reasonable compensation for the inconvenience would be appropriate. We have informed Ardennes online of this message to you.
