I was there with my 15-year-old daughter. Husum itself is more a place to stroll than the typical beach resort. Those looking for that are exactly right for a few days at Mönkestübchen. Everything is very picturesque, super clean, newly and tastefully furnished, with parking right outside the door. Unfortunately, the apartment has no possibility to sit outside. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable and walked around a lot outside.

All furniture and rooms are color-coordinated. Very harmonious atmosphere. We felt very comfortable. A few small notes: -Where to put the trash? -Heating, at least in the bathroom, should also work in summer. Nevertheless, it was a very nice stay.

We had booked both Mönkevilla and Mönkestübchen for three: Both were simply dreamy, tastefully, and above all, very lovingly furnished. We thought that Mönkeweg is certainly the prettiest residential street in Husum; for those who know Munich: It resembles "Bogenhausen à la Husum." One captain's villa next to another, quiet, pretty front gardens. The Mönke-Villa even offers a rooftop terrace where one can start and plan the day with a wonderful view and a cozy breakfast. The cultivated villa (1st floor) and also the slightly smaller room (ground floor) are spacious, very homely, and excellently equipped; you feel comfortable right away! The landlady is a charming lady and is happy about satisfied guests. Tiny "insider tips" or remarks on the side: Those who are not familiar with the latest kitchen stove technology (like us unfortunately) should inquire in advance about how to operate the stove in the villa above. But this "problem" was also easily resolved because the landlady is very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. And: The second double bed of the villa could pose a challenge for people with limited mobility. We felt very comfortable in the tastefully furnished and well-equipped vacation apartment. Husum is a nice little town from which you can make beautiful trips. We received good tips from the landlord. Kindly, we were able to store our brought E-bikes in the garage. We would love to come back.

We were thrilled to find such a well-kept accommodation. Everything was clean, the equipment was of high quality. The house is located in a quiet side street lined with villas. The center - harbor and marketplace, shops for every desire - can be reached after a 15-minute walk. Interesting for future visitors: bring coffee pods for the Senseo machine or your own coffee maker - maybe also a teapot. We can highly recommend the holiday apartment "Mönkestübchen".

Maybe a small suggestion for improvement: since we only had time for a weekend, it would have been nice if some sugar, salt and pepper, as well as some tea, had been available (but that doesn't take away from the nice little cozy and well-equipped location). - Thank you very much!

The apartment was furnished harmoniously and perfectly adequate for 2 people. The downside was that there were no instructions regarding the use of the existing electrical appliances and we only by chance found cleaning tools in the bench in the hallway on the second-to-last day. Everything was clean, but crumbs and leftover salad leaves in the dishwasher are not acceptable. Other than that, we were very satisfied.

Located on the edge of the old town, very nicely, comfortably and generously laid out. It was exactly the right distance from the harbor that - after a rich and delicious meal and "a" glass of wine/beer/etc. - provided enough exercise without turning into a hike. Ideal for getting around Husum without a car.

Beautiful furnishings. Unfortunately, no possibility to have breakfast outside, too bad but okay. The mattress in the bedroom is very soft, we had some problems with sleep. The street lighting didn't help either, as the blackout was unfortunately not sufficient. What we missed, especially with a dog, was a vacuum cleaner to get rid of the dog hair well on departure, it was not so great with just a broom and the given broom. All in all, a nice accommodation that invites you to linger.

The apartment is modern and lovingly furnished. The furnishings seemed relatively new. Everything is available for two people. In the bathroom, a few hooks for towels were missing at the sink, as well as a small trash can. The communication with the rental service (which took place before the trip) was friendly and helpful. During the stay in November, the rooms could be heated during the day, but cooled down significantly at night. My assumption: The apartment is not sufficiently heated when not in use and cools down, so that reheating requires a lot of energy. All in all, it is still a nice apartment in a good central location.

This vacation apartment has the appropriate name: (Mönke)stübchen! A small, but more than adequate and extremely cozy accommodation for two people and Basset Hound George. Lovingly furnished down to the smallest detail. The facilities are modern; everything has been thought of for self-catering. The apartment is located in a quiet area, and the town center is easily accessible by foot. Many thanks to the team of "Ferien an der Nordsee" and the landlord - we will gladly return to the North Sea!
