We are repeat offenders and have been here for the 11th time since 2020, as it has become our "second home"! I actually don't need to say more, do I?! The apartment is "centrally" located in Husum, but on a very quiet side street. From there, the castle park, harbor, marketplace, shopping street, and restaurants are all within walking distance in just a few minutes. The apartment is spacious and bright, and the kitchen is well-equipped. Everything you need is there. The sunny terrace rounds off the holiday comfort, and the parking space in front makes loading and unloading easier. The apartment is a starting point for extensive walks along the dikes of the North Sea and for excursions to the towns of the Husum Bay and to the islands and Halligen, but also to places in Dithmarschen (St. Peter-Ording, Büsum, Meldorf, Meldorfer Bucht, Eidersperrwerk, etc.). We will come back – no question! It is already booked!

We had a wonderful time in the holiday apartment Sonnenwende in Husum and can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. The apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. We particularly liked the quiet, yet central location: the city center is easily reachable on foot, and shopping options are very close by. We would love to come back.

The apartment is located in a quiet side street, yet the center of Husum with the marketplace, harbor, shopping street, restaurants, and the castle park, etc. is reachable in just a few minutes on foot. Shopping opportunities and supermarkets are plentiful in the vicinity. The apartment is a starting point for our walks at the North Sea, on Nordstrand, and in the surroundings of the Husum Bay. In addition, we start from here for our excursions to the places of the Husum Bay (Hattstedt, Bredstedt, Dagebüll, Niebüll, etc.) and to the islands and Halligen, or we visit places and sites in Dithmarschen (St. Peter-Ording, Büsum, Meldorf, the Meldorfer Bay, and the Eidersperrwerk, etc.).

It has become our "second home"! The apartment is spacious and conveys a sense of openness and freedom, just like all of North Friesland. The apartment is bright and modernly furnished, and the kitchen is well equipped. In the vacation apartment, everything is available that one actually needs, and the otherwise common but completely unnecessary frills are missing; and that is a good thing! A spacious, sunny terrace and a parking space in front complete the holiday comfort. The small vacation apartment complex with 2 houses and 8 apartments is located on a quiet side street. The center of Husum with the marketplace, harbor, shopping street, restaurants, and the castle park, etc., can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The apartment is the base and starting point for our walks by the North Sea and in the North Frisian surroundings, as well as for our explorations in and around Husum, on Nordstrand, and in the Husum Bay.

We (an older couple) spent 9 days in Husum in the FW.Sonnenwende. The apartment was really very good, no complaints. Maybe a fly screen in the bedroom would be appropriate. Beds were okay too. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the shops and city center. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Hello to the North Sea, My parents were generally very happy with the accommodation, it was also very clean. Nevertheless, the following points may need improvement: - The floor in the shower is extremely slippery when in use, and there are no handrails in the shower cabin. - The kitchen equipment with utensils is a bit too sparse. Perhaps a shopping trip to Ikea in the kitchen department could quickly and affordably remedy this? All in all, it was a great stay. Very nice apartment, great location, and smooth organization. Overall a successful stay, a nice holiday apartment with small drawbacks and a convenient location. The small drawbacks: small terrace overlooking the parking lot/1 shower towel per person for 11 days/the 2 pans in our apartment should be replaced.

It's like "coming home"! We have stayed in the Sun Solstice and Twilight apartments 4 times each. The apartment is without unnecessary frills, but has everything you need for your stay. A sunny terrace and a private parking space in front of the door complete the comfort. The apartment complex (2 houses with 4 apartments each) is located in a quiet side street. The castle park, market square, harbor, and shopping street in the center of Husum can be reached in a 5-10 minute walk. From the apartment, we go on extensive walks in and around Husum, along the dikes, and on Nordstrand. We also take trips from there to the Husum Bay and to the nearer and further North Frisian surroundings with the numerous places on the North Sea coast. We have already booked (for the 9th time) for autumn 2024!

A very nice holiday apartment with a good location and equipment, but we were missing a vacuum cleaner or a floor cloth for cleaning. The light on the terraces flickered all night, which was not very pleasant. We will definitely check in again.

The holiday home complex "Im Sonnenschein" is solidly built and energetically well equipped (insulation, solar power, ventilation, etc.). Each apartment has a parking space directly in front of the house. It is located in a quiet side street, the center, harbor, and castle park, etc., are within a few minutes' walk. The apartment is spacious, bright, friendly, and modernly furnished without unnecessary frills and has everything you need in terms of furnishing and equipment, including the beautiful, sunny terrace. We have been to the "Im Sonnenschein" complex 3 times (once in the apartment "Dämmerlicht" and now for the 2nd time in the apartment "Sonnenwende") and will definitely come back. Dealing with the owner and the team of "Ferien an der Nordsee" is very nice and friendly. The problem with the jamming terrace door was fixed in no time! Small drawback: The ceiling light in the small bedroom was defective (didn't matter, as we didn't need the room). The cleaning staff unfortunately arrived well before the departure time, which made us feel a bit rushed. I apologize for the incorrect information regarding the availability of a washing machine and a dryer in the basement (Dämmerlicht, 22.07 - 01.08.2021).

For us, the holiday home serves as a base for exploring in and around Husum and the Husumer Bucht with its numerous locations, as well as for beautiful excursions into the nearer and further North Frisian surroundings and relaxing walks by the North Sea. And?! – For spring 2024, we have already booked again (for the 8th time)! **************************************************** However, I must complain about the guest app from "Ferien an der Nordsee"! The app is absolutely inadequate and uses an 8-digit "booking number" instead of the 5-digit "booking number" from the booking/booking confirmation, with the numbering systems being completely different, without any similarities. The particular problem is that a current booking for 2024 is not displayed at all! Supposedly "a colleague entered a new contact" - Huh?! How is that possible?! There is still a significant need for improvement!

Modern, well-equipped holiday apartment with terrace or balcony in one of four attached 2-family houses. Generally quiet residential area. Everything very clean and well-maintained inside and outside the apartment. Modern television. Very good Wi-Fi. Comfortable sofa in the living room. Large bedroom. Spacious bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Private parking directly in front of the door. Market square, harbor, bakery, shopping, train station - all within walking distance (about 5-15 minutes). Overall conclusion: We would definitely choose this accommodation again for a stay in Husum and recommend it to others. The only real negative point: The garage, which is used as a bicycle storage room for a total of 8 apartments, is unfortunately a bit chaotic and also used as a storage space for car tires and building materials. The space for bicycles is therefore insufficient. There is also no electricity supply for charging e-bikes in the garage. Therefore, we always parked our e-bikes on our own terrace. P.S.: Unfortunately, during our 10-day stay, there were strong noise emissions from construction work twice early in the morning (from 7 a.m.). One day, there were garden and tree cutting activities at the kindergarten (near the bedroom window) starting at 7 a.m. On the day of departure, the sidewalk was milled from 7 a.m. (with extreme noise and constant honking of construction vehicles) - unfortunately, it was not possible to sleep in ;-(. The "commotion" was over by 10 a.m. each time ;-).

Only one real negative point:
