The house is very beautiful, above average furnished, it is very cozy - especially when it rains for 4 days, as it did during our stay! Pleasantly heated upon arrival, very clean! We felt completely comfortable! However, one thing displeased us: The contract states that departure is possible until 11:00 AM - however, the cleaning lady disturbed us at breakfast at 10:00 AM and did not think it was great that we were still there at all.

The rear access to the garden was not coordinated with the rear neighbors. When we wanted to use our bicycles and had to push them over the adjacent property, there was an unpleasant encounter with the neighbor. It is rather difficult to park the bikes in front of the house. Carrying the bikes through the house to the terrace is also unfortunate. In advance, we had clarified the crossing of the neighbor's property with the landlord.

The surroundings were also very nice; one could observe the ebb and flow very well, take canal boat trips, and visit Westerland by train. One can only say it was a relaxing vacation. Everything the heart desires is within walking distance: delicious bakery, supermarket, center, old harbor, museums, and the large castle park nearby. Parking is available anytime and free on the street. The house has a very comfortable dining kitchen with an adjoining living room, 2 great bedrooms with cozy beds, a large bathroom with a shower on the ground floor - and with a washing machine, and a small cozy one upstairs. Since the weather was great, we spent a lot of time outside on the terrace, especially nice was that the French door from the kitchen to the garden could stay open the whole time. The initial supply of toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, coffee pads, and Prosecco.

A very beautiful and excellently located apartment. Although it is on the main road, it is not very loud. There is even a grill available, but the landlord should provide grilling utensils as well as a grill brush and a cleaning broom for cleaning (not everyone has these in their vacation suitcase). Our dog, a Beagle, felt very comfortable since the garden is escape-proof with a secured fence. We would recommend "Stadthuus 51" to anyone (even with children).

The house is located directly by the pedestrian zone in Husum. Important museums and sights, as well as the harbor, are within walking distance. By car, you can take nice trips, e.g., to Nordstrand or St. Peter-Ording. The house is super low-maintenance for dog owners, with no annoying carpets or floor-length curtains; yet it is very, very cozy and modernly furnished, just to our taste. The spaciousness of the rooms is perfect. The small garden is also very pleasant. The beds are very comfortable, sleeping in them is like on clouds :) The cleanliness in the holiday home is unbeatable, that's how it should be!!!
