Very unpleasant and unsafe experience! Definitely not as indicated in the photos, certainly not for 17 people; you have a disgusting couch where a maximum of 9 people can sit, the rest have to make do with wooden chairs. It looks very run-down. Dishwasher broken, refrigerator broken. Did not use the terrace; the stairs collapsed after someone walked on them. Very intense, absolutely did not experience a relaxing weekend.

Dishwasher does not work. It was said that someone would come. No one came. Compensation was offered, but to this day there has been no feedback. Instead, they are trying to accuse us of having broken something in the villa, even though the villa is already quite old and the drawers and cabinets were already broken. Hygiene was not good. Sauna has a leak, pool was not clean. I expect a quick response regarding our compensation. Overall, we had many more problems, but our contact person was hardly reachable anyway, and it quickly became clear that no one would come for the dishwasher, which is why I didn't even try with the other issues. All in all, bad, not recommended.

There was an extractor in several sanitary areas, which made it very smelly. Lots of glasses with a piece from the edge so that you can cut your lip. We wanted to take a trip but there was no key to close it. Then we called the people of the house what was on your papers and they said yes we can't come then you just leave 1 expensive open here, nothing will be removed! We didn't. And it became very frustrated, of course, because with a 7-month-old baby, it is no party after all. We have been working on a solution since 11.00 am and it was now an hour further. And said several times that they really don't come children, they said ooo at the washing machine is a safe. - we had indicated that we would arrive at 4 pm. On arrival a neighbor was waiting for us in a hurry (owners were on holiday). She was bored with the fact that the cleaning crew had only arrived half an hour before, so the house wasn't ready to move in at all. We then spent an hour outside the house, not obvious in this season with an 87-year-old grandmother and two toddlers. The owner promised to refund us the cleaning fee of 150 euros. This has not happened yet, but it is also only a short day. - the house was therefore not clean: the oven had not been cleaned, around the pool still dirty footprints from the cleaning team, under the sink were a dirty bowl with dirty water and very dirty cutting boards, dining table stuck (tablecloth stuck to it) ... .- very untidy decor of the kitchen cabinets, lots of clutter (both for household and other things), dirty dish rags - lower floor heating not working despite texting the owner who said it was underfloor heating which worked automatically. Not so bad in itself, but that kept the bathroom ice cold there. At the very end of the clean-up we saw that there was an electric fire hidden under the bathroom cabinet. We have not tried that again.... A description of this was missing. Owner did not mention this either. - the lighting in the living room is not satisfactory at all, much too weak. We have added night lamps from the bedrooms to be able to read a bit or play games at the table. - a wardrobe in a downstairs bedroom was completely apart - several lamps and spots were missing in the house - we had planned to pay 750 euros in cash as a deposit, but we did not have to hand this over, not a bad thing in itself. In this way, at least all defects cannot be put in our shoes.

You could open windows until 4 p.m. because then mosquitoes came in. No fan available, which made it sweltering. Swimming pool was very dirty because you just couldn't see the floor. First day in the pool and hit the mark straight away. Piece of glass in the pool that cut open my brother-in-law and his daughter's toe. Then I contacted the owner of the house and 2 people arrived the next day to clean. All that was done was diving into the pool a few times with goggles to look for broken glass. Nothing was found, so we went back into the pool with full confidence and found another piece of glass in my brother-in-law's toe. We didn't go to the pool again after that. I contacted the owner again and unfortunately no response so far. This house is really not recommended and will be the last time for me.

Hello just back from vacation in the house Opal in the Ardennes. It was a large house with an indoor swimming pool. Many bedrooms with shower facilities. The kitchen was open with the sitting area, you really needed this space with so many people. On the terrace it was wonderful to stay until the late evening. The pool and sauna was paradise for all of us, we enjoyed it. The children wanted nothing more than to swim all day. Only a pity that the children could not play outside downstairs. but they had a good time afterwards on the terrace upstairs. There was a nice spacious hall, with stair gate for the small children. That really needs to be replaced. (we attached it.) On arrival I was actually a bit shocked by how it looked but in use it was a nice spacious house. Here and there there could be a little more and better cleaning and certainly the stairs in the hall. Also the showers started to smell a bit after a few days. There were several rooms with dark curtains which was very nice for the kids. But especially on the front side where the sun shines all day long, there are lighter curtains where the children could not sleep. Dark ones would be better, especially for the heat. The windows may also be cleaned once. But everything in a row we enjoyed our stay in the Ardennes with children and grandchildren.

Een ruim genoeg huis voor met 15. De tafel is net te klein om met iedereen te kunnen eten. Mooie en rustige omgeving. De netheid kan wel beter. Het zwembad is niet heel proper, ook sommig keukengerei is aan vervanging toe. Niet in elke kamer kan er een raam open, waardoor het er heel warm wordt door de zon . Vlot onthaal, de eigenaars zijn makkelijk bereikbaar.

- we had indicated that we would arrive at 4 pm. On arrival a neighbor was waiting for us in a hurry (owners were on holiday). She was bored with the fact that the cleaning crew had only arrived half an hour before, so the house wasn't ready to move in at all. We then spent an hour outside the house, not obvious in this season with an 87-year-old grandmother and two toddlers. The owner promised to refund us the cleaning fee of 150 euros. This has not happened yet, but it is also only a short day. - the house was therefore not clean: the oven had not been cleaned, around the pool still dirty footprints from the cleaning team, under the sink were a dirty bowl with dirty water and very dirty cutting boards, dining table stuck (tablecloth stuck to it) ... .- very untidy decor of the kitchen cabinets, lots of clutter (both for household and other things), dirty dish rags - lower floor heating not working despite texting the owner who said it was underfloor heating which worked automatically. Not so bad in itself, but that kept the bathroom ice cold there. At the very end of the clean-up we saw that there was an electric fire hidden under the bathroom cabinet. We have not tried that again.... A description of this was missing. Owner did not mention this either. - the lighting in the living room is not satisfactory at all, much too weak. We have added night lamps from the bedrooms to be able to read a bit or play games at the table. - a wardrobe in a downstairs bedroom was completely apart - several lamps and spots were missing in the house - we had planned to pay 750 euros in cash as a deposit, but we did not have to hand this over, not a bad thing in itself. In this way, at least all defects cannot be put in our shoes.

A nice big house. Cozy modern furnishings. Spacious enough for us. Unfortunately not so clean on arrival. Bathrooms are in need of an update. Swimming pool was lovely, but could have been a bit warmer!

Accommodation and surroundings are beautiful. Quite a bit of snow had also fallen. Looked like a fairytale. This house is certainly worth repeating. Sauna and swimming pool are frequently used.

Hello just back from vacation in the house Opal in the Ardennes. It was a large house with an indoor swimming pool. Many bedrooms with shower facilities. The kitchen was open with the sitting area, you really needed this space with so many people. On the terrace it was wonderful to stay until the late evening. The pool and sauna was paradise for all of us, we enjoyed it. The children wanted nothing more than to swim all day. Only a pity that the children could not play outside downstairs. but they had a good time afterwards on the terrace upstairs. There was a nice spacious hall, with stair gate for the small children. That really needs to be replaced. (we attached it.) On arrival I was actually a bit shocked by how it looked but in use it was a nice spacious house. Here and there there could be a little more and better cleaning and certainly the stairs in the hall. Also the showers started to smell a bit after a few days. There were several rooms with dark curtains which was very nice for the kids. But especially on the front side where the sun shines all day long, there are lighter curtains where the children could not sleep. Dark ones would be better, especially for the heat. The windows may also be cleaned once. But everything in a row we enjoyed our stay in the Ardennes with children and grandchildren.

Een ruim genoeg huis voor met 15. De tafel is net te klein om met iedereen te kunnen eten. Mooie en rustige omgeving. De netheid kan wel beter. Het zwembad is niet heel proper, ook sommig keukengerei is aan vervanging toe. Niet in elke kamer kan er een raam open, waardoor het er heel warm wordt door de zon . Vlot onthaal, de eigenaars zijn makkelijk bereikbaar.

The stay started well for the first half hour and then went downhill. There is no extraction in the entire house, which means that every room is damp. You could open windows until 4 p.m. because then mosquitoes came in. No fan available, which made it sweltering. Swimming pool was very dirty because you just couldn't see the floor. First day in the pool and hit the mark straight away. Piece of glass in the pool that cut open my brother-in-law and his daughter's toe. Then I contacted the owner of the house and 2 people arrived the next day to clean. All that was done was diving into the pool a few times with goggles to look for broken glass. Nothing was found, so we went back into the pool with full confidence and found another piece of glass in my brother-in-law's toe. We didn't go to the pool again after that. I contacted the owner again and unfortunately no response so far. This house is really not recommended and will be the last time for me.
