Feel-good place

We felt so comfortable that we mournfully said goodbye on the last day. We felt right at home. The kitchen was a place where everyone could meet so that the cooks were not alone
The bedrooms were cosy and gave the necessary privacy for a group of 8 people
Our highlight was of course the living room with tiled stove and really enough wood. Ideal for the winter
We felt very well received and looked after by Rosi and Holger throughout our stay. Really hospitable hosts! Thank you!

Nice vacation

We want to thank you for everything. The house is wonderful, the garden too, an idyllic location.
We spent 5 days in Holgiwood, the sun and the beautiful weather were also there. Beautiful area, thanks to the recommendations of the owners. FootGolf in Rotfelden, Bad Wildbad and its little train, the Paracelsus Therme in Bad Liebenzell, the Erzgrube with the beautiful hiking trail and Nagold. We will come back and recommend them.

giant house

The whole house completely on your own, what more could you want. Large bedroom, all beds made of wood and pretty new. There was everything twice, toilet, bathroom, and kitchen. Only the garden was missing, but it was huge. Every evening we could make a fire in front of the house on a rotisserie grill. There is plenty of wood available. We would come back anytime.

Pleasantly surprised!

We spent a wonderful holiday in "Holgiwood". Since 2010, a lot has changed. We had the whole house and the large garden to ourselves. We (3 couples) often sat by the fire around the grill area and felt completely detached from everyday life. The large kitchen with dining area was fully equipped with everything you need. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which was ideal for us. In the cozy living room, we could enjoy our game nights.

Under hut with 45m² living space, I imagined a small bungalow. What we found was a detached house. via an open staircase, we reached the second floor, our "holiday apartment." There was no door separating the upper and lower floors, creating a little privacy. Likewise, no keys to lock the bedroom door. Unfortunately, in the small kitchenette, we were unable to cook as there were no pots available. Fortunately, the homeowner was away on vacation, so we were able to use his kitchen (where we also found the promised dishwasher) and living room. We were very happy with our small size in the little bathroom with a toilet. Taller individuals may have difficulty standing upright due to the sloping roof. The guest toilet is located in the lower part of the house and therefore does not actually belong to the apartment(?). We had to bring our own bed linen and towels, and we also could not find a radio. Although the garden is very large, we could not find the described children's playground. Conclusion:
Due to the absence of the landlord, we were able to make ourselves comfortable in the entire house and manage well (although it's a bit of an adjustment to live among all the personal items like letters, shoes, photos...).
If the homeowner is present, one should be open to the shared living situation =)
The sauna in the basement is highly recommended -> relaxation guaranteed!

Bäcker und Metzger in Wildberg (ca.5 km)
