The receipt by Signorina Lisa, the reception lady was very cordial. We could converse in English. The explanation of how and what was excellent. The house is fully met our expectations, both in terms of location, interior, garden and garden furniture. At our request or upon arrival drink in the fridge could be put, easily met. A fee would not aannemen.De design of Casali dei Ciompi was professionally executed. Everything was well maintained. The pool was checked and cleaned by Maria and Tenziano. There were plenty of stretchers, chairs, umbrellas and tables aanwezig.Van the father of Lisa, Alessio Gallori, we have obtained much information about Florence, Siena and Arezzo.We have 14 days fully and thoroughly enjoyed. It was the money waard.Het weather was not controlled by the landlord, but was excellent, making good use of the pool was gemaakt.De help Alessio and Lisa, when I put my glasses on the train had left, was heartwarming. Well-kept, clean holiday home in a beautiful location. Nevertheless, we have some comments: the road to the holiday home is appalling ... from the main road to the house you can count at least half an hour. The last two km are unpaved and in VERY bad condition. It took us about 20 minutes over the last 2 km. The road is strewn with large boulders and with dozens of deep potholes. Unless you drive a decent SUV, the chances of a flat tire or other property damage are high. All this makes our holiday look different than planned. Going to the bakery or shop quickly is out of the question. During our stay it was apparently also the time to mow the grass and maintain the garden, which forced us to eat our meal indoors. On the positive side, the pool is cleaned every morning. It is a spacious, clean swimming pool. All in all, we enjoyed the tranquility and the beautiful view that you get as a reward.

A quiet house. Beautiful and tastefully decorated. All the windows were fitted with fly screens and shutters, so bugs do not come in with very hot weather continues in cooler. Upon arrival, the owner of the cottage above, was, and she has expanded our home show and explain the how and what. She spoke perfect English, so it was very easy to communicate. The house next to us (with the same owner) was only one day busy when we were there. This made for extra peace and privacy, because the pool and garden around it we would otherwise have to share with the neighbors. So we had lots of space and tranquility at our disposal. It was a little too cold to swim. The cottage is situated on a mountain top and the dirt road to it is pretty bad, potholes, gravel. It takes about half an hour from the village of Dicomano up to the cottage to drive. We have been to Florence from our cottage 2x train. This is doable. (50 min) and you can park your car to the station. The village Dicomano suggests not very common, very small and there is little to doen.Er two supermarkets so that's convenient. The area is nice and little touristy. Towards Florence is much more touristy. We were happy to after a busy day in Florence to our quiet hu

A very pleasant stay. The house is well maintained and fully voorzien.De owner is friendly and helpful. The house, the surroundings and the pool are very good onderhouden.Voor who wants to get away from the crowds / crowds, this is a must!
