We had a wonderful time at the air-conditioned lake flat! The location by Idro lake is simply stunning, and we loved being just a short walk from both the water and the forest, The apartment itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a lovely living room where we spent many evenings relaxing together, The private garden was a delightful bonus, perfect for our kids and our dog to enjoy, The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home, Highly recommend for families looking for a peaceful getaway!

I rented the house making sure it was fenced ... I'm on my third day of vacation and I'm starting to feel nervous .. I have to keep my 6 month old puppy tied up all the time otherwise he ends up on the street. On the ground floor we are plagued by small centipedes due to the abundant humidity. The ground bathroom with the shower is permanently wet and damp ... There is a strong musty smell inside the cupboards and drawers .. We had to wash cutlery, pots and pans. , dishes, salad bowls, etc of the kitchen, very dirty .. Mrs. Miriam is very kind and puts you at ease but does not console everything else ...

This lakeside apartment has an incredible atmosphere! Great quiet place near Lake Idro, perfect for family reunions. The garden is undoubtedly the best place to relax after a day of exploring. Comfortable living room + modern kitchen = everything you need. And on top of that, pets are allowed? Big win!

The apartment is spacious and well-decorated, perfect for families. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also found the nearby supermarket very convenient for our needs.

This cottage has a lovely location. Lake Idro is smaller and quieter than Garda, and this is a holiday home for those who want a more secluded stay (though we were there in September - may be busier in high season). There are two apartments in the building, a larger one on the lower two floors and a smaller single-floor one at the top - all clean, tidy and comfortable. There's a pretty garden where you can sit and enjoy views over the lake and the mountains, and a small beach just the other side of the road at the bottom of the garden. All very quiet and restful. The village a few miles down the road has a small supermarket and there's a larger Coop at the next village along. NB there's no Wifi, but there is TV - and plenty of scope for walking and swimming. Last but not least, the owners, Michele and Miriam, are charming and generous hosts and live close enough to be able to solve problems and advise if needed. We felt by the end of our stay tht we could regard them as friends rather than just landlords. The only other thing I'd add is that the motorway is some 50 km away on a road that can get quite jammed, which means you need to allow a couple of hours or more to visit cities such as Verona or Bergamo. Brescia is closer, and also worth a visit. Like I say, a place for those who want to relax in quiet, beautiful surroundings and explore the local countryside (which is magnificent) rathe than as a city sightseeing centre.

Unfortunately, the house and its inventory are very old.

There is mold on the walls on the ground floor and the tiles in the bathroom have been permanently wet since arrival, since before using the bathroom and airing.

Unfortunately, the bathroom on the ground floor was also very dirty, with a lot of hair and the toilet was probably not cleaned at all, so we only used the bathroom on the upper floor, which was a bit cleaner.

We had to wash the dishes before using them because most of them were dirty.

We preferred to go out to eat and didn't use the dirty old pots.

The communication with the landlady was rather difficult and not really possible because she doesn't speak a word of English and tried to explain everything to us in Italian.

We would not book this apartment again.

I would like to divide my experience here into different categories. The title "Air-conditioned apartment by the lake" I find to be a deceptive misrepresentation, as the air conditioning cannot be used. The air conditioning seems to be used only for heating. The pictures do not match the description, as they are already several years old. This should also be revised. Location: The location is beautiful - right by the lake, for that I would give full marks. Furnishings: The furnishings are somewhat outdated (especially the inventory - it resembles more of three household clearances than a targeted furnishing of a holiday home. The bathroom urgently needs a renovation in my opinion. It is already damp due to the basement - and a shower with a shower curtain does not improve this deficiency either. The bedroom facing the lake has been newly done and is very well done (unfortunately not visible in the pictures). The second bedroom is significantly older - here two single beds have been repurposed with an incompatible frame into one bed, and accordingly, the quality is also lacking. A main reason for my negative review was a plague of millipedes. During our stay, there were unfortunately significant hygiene issues: there were many millipedes in the bathroom and living area - we are not talking about 2-3 but over 100 per day!!! The presence of these creatures was extremely unpleasant and greatly affected our stay. The problem seems to be already known to the operator, as he dismissed it as a trivial matter in a review from 2023. Our holiday experience was significantly marred by this disgusting plague. Moreover, it could be resolved cost-effectively and has existed for a while (insect screens on the doors). I would wish that the significantly increased prices would be used to remedy the described problems to spare future guests from such a holiday experience. We booked the apartment above several years ago - in my opinion, it is much nicer and I would recommend it; I will not book the lower one again. Unfortunately, there was no remedy after the complaint, neither from the operator nor from Belvilla.

The location on Lake Idro is unique. Just open the garden gate and jump into the lake! This holiday apartment is perfect for me and my needs.
The interior is not very comfortable, but I personally don't attach much importance to that. If the weather is good, you spend most of your time outside anyway. My dog felt right at home in the garden and walks in the forest are possible from the house. I actually wanted to book this holiday home again, but I'm a little surprised by the not insignificant price increase.

We, my wife, my daughter with her boyfriend and I have to Idro in Northern Italy, as we suspected, this simple rented cottage. Simple, but cheap and what do you really need all during a sunny (Doc) holiday. Well, a decent bed and a shower with a shower curtain would have been in retrospect not a luxury. The bed is 1.90 m (I also own) and hard with high foot board and thereby so creaky that when you stretch in your sleep by mistake, which I still do sometimes, you kicks off the entire back of the bed and so you end up on the ground. The owner call for help does not make sense unless you speak Italian, because this is really the only language they speak. Also the simplest English words not begrepen.Overigens is not advisable to bring small children. The stove is perilous. Buttons rotate at the slightest touch

The location on Lake Idro is unique. Just open the garden gate and jump into the lake! This holiday apartment is perfect for me and my needs.
The interior is not very comfortable, but I personally don't attach much importance to that. If the weather is good, you spend most of your time outside anyway. My dog felt right at home in the garden and walks in the forest are possible from the house. I actually wanted to book this holiday home again, but I'm a little surprised by the not insignificant price increase.

I rented the house making sure it was fenced ... I'm on my third day of vacation and I'm starting to feel nervous .. I have to keep my 6 month old puppy tied up all the time otherwise he ends up on the street. On the ground floor we are plagued by small centipedes due to the abundant humidity. The ground bathroom with the shower is permanently wet and damp ... There is a strong musty smell inside the cupboards and drawers .. We had to wash cutlery, pots and pans. , dishes, salad bowls, etc of the kitchen, very dirty .. Mrs. Miriam is very kind and puts you at ease but does not console everything else ...

Unfortunately, the house and its inventory are very old.

There is mold on the walls on the ground floor and the tiles in the bathroom have been permanently wet since arrival, since before using the bathroom and airing.

Unfortunately, the bathroom on the ground floor was also very dirty, with a lot of hair and the toilet was probably not cleaned at all, so we only used the bathroom on the upper floor, which was a bit cleaner.

We had to wash the dishes before using them because most of them were dirty.

We preferred to go out to eat and didn't use the dirty old pots.

The communication with the landlady was rather difficult and not really possible because she doesn't speak a word of English and tried to explain everything to us in Italian.

We would not book this apartment again.

Lake Idro is smaller and quieter than Garda, and this is a holiday home for those who want a more secluded stay (though we were there in September - may be busier in high season). There are two apartments in the building, a larger one on the lower two floors and a smaller single-floor one at the top - all clean, tidy and comfortable. There's a pretty garden where you can sit and enjoy views over the lake and the mountains, and a small beach just the other side of the road at the bottom of the garden. All very quiet and restful. The village a few miles down the road has a small supermarket and there's a larger Coop at the next village along. NB there's no Wifi, but there is TV - and plenty of scope for walking and swimming. Last but not least, the owners, Michele and Miriam, are charming and generous hosts and live close enough to be able to solve problems and advise if needed. We felt by the end of our stay tht we could regard them as friends rather than just landlords. The only other thing I'd add is that the motorway is some 50 km away on a road that can get quite jammed, which means you need to allow a couple of hours or more to visit cities such as Verona or Bergamo. Brescia is closer, and also worth a visit. Like I say, a place for those who want to relax in quiet, beautiful surroundings and explore the local countryside (which is magnificent) rathe than as a city sightseeing centre.

We, my wife, my daughter with her boyfriend and I have to Idro in Northern Italy, as we suspected, this simple rented cottage. Simple, but cheap and what do you really need all during a sunny (Doc) holiday. Well, a decent bed and a shower with a shower curtain would have been in retrospect not a luxury. The bed is 1.90 m (I also own) and hard with high foot board and thereby so creaky that when you stretch in your sleep by mistake, which I still do sometimes, you kicks off the entire back of the bed and so you end up on the ground. The bathroom has a shower with a shower curtain half, causing large amounts of water both the bathroom and under the door flows into the hallway. A drain is missing, so bailing everyday, mop and wipe dry. And believe me, we have city and country searched for a extra shower curtain, but nowhere can find something. The owner call for help does not make sense unless you speak Italian, because this is really the only language they speak. Also the simplest English words not begrepen.Overigens is not advisable to bring small children. The stove is perilous. Buttons rotate at the slightest touch

We were the third time in this House and will be going again next year. For those seeking peace with a large dog this house is ideal. The nearest village with restaurants and shops is only 5km away. Hardly tourism and the beautiful lake right outside the patio door.

Been August, average temperature 30 'walking distance (17m) water and pebble beach, but unfortunately "busy" road along house, especially during the day in good weather ..., the house was clean and had rather old furniture etc, good beds, poor pans, great views, friendly welcome.
