A charming chalet with a warm atmosphere! It was clean and spacious enough for our group. We appreciated the nearby local dining options, especially the pizzeria just down the street. The garden was also great for a barbecue. Overall, a comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here, The chalet is simple but very charming, The location is quiet, perfect for resting, We spent one day skiing and another exploring the nearby towns, It is definitely a place I would return to, especially for the local cuisine!

We stayed there for 5 nights. And it was really fantastic. Upon arrival, there was a bottle of wine and some sweets. The chalet is cozy and also has a sauna. We were also warmly welcomed by the owner, Mr. Christiaens, who gave us extensive explanations about the sights and restaurants in the area. From the chalet, one can make beautiful walks or, as I did, run trails with a lot of elevation gain. A recommendation, and we will definitely return.

A wonderful stay! The children enjoyed the garden and we made use of the nearby ski resorts. The sauna was a highlight after a long day on the slopes. I would recommend it for families looking for a peaceful getaway.

The location was peaceful and perfect for outdoor sports enthusiasts. We spent our days hiking and biking, and the evenings were spent relaxing in the sauna. The chalet had everything we needed, although it sometimes felt a bit basic.

First of all, the owner is extremely nice! And the house is really cute on the inside, but just too small for the six of us to watch TV on the couch, for example. The sauna is also too small to really enjoy. You sit with your head against the ceiling and the planks are too narrow/short to lie down. The apartment downstairs is actually better because you have more privacy and a nice garden. The house above has little privacy and a very small terrace. And what's more, they spent the whole week providing the two tiny houses right in front of the house with electricity, etc., so there were buses everywhere, behind the house. If we could go skiing every day, this wouldn't really have been a problem, but we just didn't want to sit outside. The area is too low for snow, so you have to book last minute for a ski holiday. I think it will be more fun here in the summer, but if you want peace and privacy then I would choose something else.

House fine and very cozy only what could be better:

- normal pan set with matching lids

- sufficient cutlery and all normal kitchen utensils available

- normally firm pillows (not that it's a bit weak, you hardly notice them)

sauna that works properly

- door handle that you don't have to do a sprat school for (my mom would never close this door).

- heating in the lower part of the house does not work (stove in the kitchen)



All in all, no insurmountable disasters, but for a house for € 1600 for a week, I expect that everything is there and works properly. Just comes across as sloppy and is annoying with e.g. cooking. In addition, the sauna, for example, has been a reason to choose this house and then you look forward to it and I think that I can expect it to be in tip-top order and it is not. In addition, on the one hand it is very nice that it is close to the ski area, on the other hand the village has completely bled to death even for those seeking tranquility and there is really nothing to do except the supermarket and the bakery (restaurants are closed and there is nothing else) , but well that is more a matter of taste of course, but in my opinion it is important to know.

Endless space! The garden is lit for barbecues, clean, cozy, and has everything needed for a family vacation. Definitely a place to relax with friends!

Overall, a solid experience. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was functional. We appreciated the host's hospitality, and the nearby dining options were a nice surprise. Just be prepared for a bit of a drive to the main attractions.
